Set between Brem-sur-Mer and Bretignolles-sur-Mer, Les Pins enjoys a wonderful position for experiencing the relaxed rhythm of the Vendée coastline. Surrounded by pine trees in an attractive neighbourhood near the ocean, the house is only 600m from the beautiful Plage des Dunes.

Plage des Dunes is a vast sandy beach beloved by surfers for its rolling Atlantic waves and unspoilt natural beauty. Whether you are heading out for an early morning swim, watching surfers carve through the surf or simply strolling along the shoreline at sunset, this stretch of coast offers an idyllic setting. There are a couple of places to eat near the beach, open seasonally. 

Nearby Brem-sur-Mer (1.4km) offers a useful range of amenities alongside a welcoming local atmosphere. The village is also home to a Michelin-starred restaurant and hosts a lively weekly market, held twice weekly during the summer season, where visitors can browse regional produce and local specialities. 

The popular seaside town of Bretignolles-sur-Mer (2.5km) is also within easy reach by car/bike and offers a blend of traditional charm and outdoor pursuits. Known for its surf culture, family-friendly beaches and scenic coastal walking trails, it is a wonderful place to explore at a leisurely pace. The surrounding coastline is dotted with rocky coves, sandy beaches and cycling routes that showcase the area’s natural beauty.

Nature lovers will particularly enjoy discovering the Marais salants de l’Île d’Olonne, a remarkable landscape of traditional salt marshes rich in birdlife and local heritage. La Gachère (2.5km) is an excellent starting point for exploring this peaceful area, where walking paths and waterways reveal the region’s long-standing salt-harvesting traditions.

For a classic seaside excursion, Les Sables-d’Olonne (16km) offers elegant promenades, expansive sandy beaches and a vibrant marina lined with cafés and restaurants.
