The house is located between Béziers, one of the oldest cities in France, and Pézenas, a 'hidden gem' for antique collectors. The area is known for its huge sandy beaches and great summer beach scene within a 20-minute drive.
La Cigalière is a 5 minute walk from a very good bakery and butchers, and only 15 minutes on foot from a fantastic Super U. Servian is vibrant with a great community and events. It has good restaurants and takeaway food/pop-up trucks as well as a small independent grocer (great for rotisserie chickens at the weekend).
Languedoc-Rousillon is one of France's most successful wine growing regions, and the house is close to many local growers and producers who have a real passion for making delicious and outstanding wines. For those seeking outdoor adventures, the national park offers lake swimming, scenic walking and biking trails and a golf course.
