Arranged around a pretty courtyard, the residence comprises four adjoined stone cottages, each with its own kitchen, living area and two comfortable bedrooms, offering both independence and togetherness for extended families or groups of friends.

The heart of the estate beats by the poolside, where a 16-metre swimming pool and a separate children’s pool are framed by lawned gardens and views across the vines. Here, the summer kitchen transforms sunny days into long, laughter-filled evenings - it’s a space designed for feasting and celebration. A boules pitch, table tennis and floodlit tennis court offer entertainment from dawn until dusk.

Inside, the décor blends comfort and rustic charm with thoughtful details throughout. Each house has been carefully equipped for relaxed living, while a dedicated games room with snooker table, TV and bar creates a convivial hub for sociable evenings together.

The estate is located in a small village, just 30 minutes south of Carcassonne and 11km from the historic market town of Limoux, renowned for its sparkling wine and picturesque square. From here, you can explore the region’s many treasures: walk the Cathar trail, cycle along the Canal du Midi, or visit the golden beaches of Narbonne Plage, just over an hour away. A complimentary wine tasting at the nearby domaine adds a final touch to a true Languedoc experience.

Le Domaine de Brugairolles is on the edge of a wine estate known for its wide range of wines that reflect the authenticity of the land. Drive through the gated grounds when you arrive, pass the winery and then continue around 400m to your residence (on the edge of the village). Complimentary wine tastings can be arranged by appointment.

There is also an on-site restaurant next to the winery usually open Tuesday to Saturday for lunch and evening meal service (book ahead and check opening dates, as the restaurant may close in winter). The restaurant features a terrace with beautiful views towards the Pyrenees and serves gastronomic dishes based on local produce, all paired with the domaine’s wine.

The small village itself is otherwise fairly sleepy and traditional but you are just a 15-minute drive from the lively market town of Limoux (11km). Famed for its historic connection to sparkling wine (arguably predating Champagne), Limoux offers a charming central square, local cafes and authentic restaurants, all just ten minutes away.

Further afield, the fairytale town of Mirepoix (28km) enchants with its timber-framed arcades and bustling Monday market, while medieval Carcassonne (29km) provides a dramatic day out with its unesco-listed citadel, summer concerts and open-air festivals.

The surrounding region offers a wealth of outdoor experiences and cultural encounters. Follow the picturesque towpaths of the Canal du Midi by bike, explore nearby walking and hiking trails through rolling countryside, or trace the dramatic story of the Cathars at nearby sites including Saint-Hilaire Abbey (20km). Golf enthusiasts will find an 18-hole course within easy reach, while wine lovers can tour the vineyards of Minervois and Corbières, discovering acclaimed appellations at their source.
