The lounge itself has comfortable sofas and chairs, while a stylish and impressive bookshelf lines one side of the room under the staircase, filled with fascinating books about the art-deco movement and many aspects of French history and culture. You’ll love reading and relaxing in this spacious, serene space, with the sun beaming through the elegant French windows.

While you’re bound to spend your days out seeing the sights, your mornings will be fully taken care of in Apartment Heloise, with a fully equipped kitchen boasting a coffee grinder and Nespresso machine. Let the mouthwatering aroma tantalise your taste buds as you laze about the lounge, perhaps nibbling on a delicious pastry purchased at the nearest bakery – literally seconds from your apartment! A day bed and sofa bed on this level also makes it a comfortable sleeping space for two additional guests, along with a toilet and sink on this level.

Heading up an elegant, white staircase, you’ll find the charming master bedroom, with a Queen-size bed draped in retro-coloured linen and abundant storage space for you to unpack. The French windows are well-insulated, allowing you to enjoy the peace of the apartment while city life buzzes outside. On this level, you’ll also find a study/entertainment room. Either set up your laptop in this comfortable space or relax on one of the lounging chairs and watch the TV.

Finally, you’ll find a modern bathroom on this level, complete with a spacious shower and bathtub for you to unwind in. Equipped with all the modern amenities and little luxuries, Apartment Heloise makes for the dreamy city escape you’ve been desiring. You’re bound to feel like royalty in this enviable apartment, housed in a private, gated residence, to separate you from the crowds of your famous local neighbourhood. From the Eiffel Tower to the Trocadéro, you have many world-famous monuments simply moments from your doorstep!

Located in the trendy 16th arrondissement of Paris, your local neighbourhood is known for being one of the most upscale and glamorous areas in the city. It’s also a popular residential area, so you’ll feel like you can return to your relaxing city haven after a day of being immersed in the tourist buzz of the popular city spots. You are within walking distance of public transport, and the metro is by far the easiest, most efficient, and most affordable way to get around the city. If you want to see how the affluent Parisians live, take the metro to Passy, where you’ll find some of the city's most luxurious food stores and boutiques. The Passy-covered market is open every day of the week, and you’re bound to find some delicious local cuisine here.

Trocadéro is within walking distance of your apartment and is a must-visit destination to witness the most mesmerising views of the Eiffel Tower in the entire city. If you fancy getting up early, avoid the crowds and view the tower from across the river. Be sure to bring your phone, as you’ll want to get a great snap of the sun rising up behind one of the world’s most magnificent buildings! Also within walking distance of the apartment is the Arc de Triomphe. Located at the top of the Champs-Élysées, the monument interestingly rests on the meeting point between the 16th, 17th, and 8th arrondissements! Slightly confused? Be sure to read up on the geography and layout of the city and pick up a map when you’re there!

Reflecting the artistically inspired interior of your gorgeous apartment, the 16th arrondissement is home to many famous art museums. Some top recommendations include the Musée Marmottan-Monet if you’re a fan of Monet and impressionism and the Museum of Modern Art, containing some pieces that are perhaps a little more well-known to the majority. The museum is free to enter and features some astonishing artwork by artists, including Picasso. Whether you’re not an art lover or fancy a bit of a tipple after so much looking, reading and learning, you’re bound to love the Musée du Vin. Learning about the history of wine production was fascinating, but we especially loved the wine tasting at the end of our visit!

If you fancy a spot of shopping, take the metro to the department stores downtown. Popular amongst tourists and Parisians alike, the Galeries Lafayette is one of the world’s most famous and luxurious department stores. It boasts a wide range of high-end products, a stunning interior, atrium, and even a rooftop restaurant. You’re bound to be hungry after so much shopping and exploring. If you fancy a sit-down, hearty meal, try out L’Atelier des Augustins for some delicious French cuisine, of if you’re craving a sweet treat, head to the famous Angelina tearoom, renowned for its hot chocolate and divine pastries.

Another attraction within easy reach of your apartment via the metro is the iconic Louvre. More than 8 million tourists visit the museum every year to see some of history’s most extraordinary artwork, from the Mona Lisa to the Venus de Milo. Along with being one of the most visited museums, it’s also the largest, so be prepared to do lots of walking! Book your tickets online in advance to avoid the queues, and bring plenty of water in the humid summer months; you’ll need it!
