The historic town of Porto Vecchio is close at hand, offering a lively blend of cafés, shops and restaurants within its charming old town. The region’s most celebrated beaches are also within a 15 to 30 minutes’ drive, ranging from the family-friendly La Plage de Saint Cyprien and Plage de Pinarellu to the iconic white sands and turquoise waters of Palombaggia and Santa Giulia.
For memorable excursions, a day trip to Bonifacio, just 45 minutes by car, reveals dramatic limestone cliffs, a picturesque marina and a fascinating citadel perched above the sea, perhaps combined with a visit to the beautiful bay at Plage de Rondinara.
Nature lovers can also venture inland to experience a different side of the island, hiking through the shaded trails of the Forêt de L'Ospedale or tackling the striking Bavella peaks, where rugged landscapes and panoramic views showcase Corsica at its most spectacular.
