Villa Anji enjoys a peaceful setting in the hamlet of Naklice, only seven kilometres from the lively coastal town of Omiš. Surrounded by dramatic mountains, Naklice is home to the historic Church of St. Anthony and a welcoming local tavern serving traditional Dalmatian dishes. Within easy reach, the Cetina River offers emerald waters, rafting and canyoning adventures, while the sandy beaches of the Omiš Riviera invite lazy afternoons by the sea.

Known as Croatia’s adventure capital, Omiš combines rich history with endless opportunities for outdoor pursuits. Explore cobbled streets, relax on the beach or take to the river for rafting, canyoning or zip lining above the dramatic gorge. For walkers, the hike to Starigrad Fortress rewards with sweeping coastal views, while Mirabella Fortress offers a shorter climb and a glimpse into the town’s pirate past.

The old town of Omiš is perfect for a leisurely wander, with highlights including St. Michael’s Church and the Omiš City Museum. After sightseeing, local restaurants serve up Dalmatian favourites such as cuttlefish risotto and pašticada. A day trip to Split, only twenty-five kilometres away, offers the chance to explore Diocletian’s Palace, a unesco World Heritage site that dominates the old town and harbour. For something more tranquil, boat tours from Omiš provide access to the idyllic coves and sandy bays of the island of Brač.
