Villa Matchie

About this property

Nestled just outside Sumpetar on the stunning Dalmatian Coast, Villa Matchie is a spacious six-bedroom retreat with beautiful sea views and fantastic facilities for families and groups. Spread across three floors, the villa offers plenty of space to relax, with two living areas, two fully equipped kitchens and air conditioning throughout.

The pool level features a welcoming living and dining area alongside three king-size bedrooms, while the first floor offers another bedroom and a dedicated media room with a 75-inch TV and PlayStation 5. Upstairs, a second living area and kitchen open onto a terrace with spectacular sea views, accompanied by two further bedrooms.

Outside, the heated private pool is surrounded by a generous sun terrace with loungers and a lounge area. A fully equipped summer kitchen, barbecue and covered dining space are ideal for al fresco meals, while a private gym, table tennis and darts provide further entertainment. The rooftop terrace offers another wonderful spot for admiring the Adriatic views.

A pebble beach is just 300 metres away, with Omiš and Split both within easy reach by car.

Villa Matchie is ideally situated just under a kilometre up the hill from the beautiful Dalmatian coast, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. While the beach is within walking distance, it’s important to note that the route involves a downhill walk along a road, so we recommend hiring a car for your convenience. This will also give you easy access to local shops and restaurants located just down the hill, where you can sample authentic Croatian cuisine and pick up any essentials you may need during your stay.

In and around Sumpetar, there’s a wealth of activities and attractions to explore. Take a leisurely stroll along the picturesque shoreline, or venture to nearby Omis, known for its stunning canyon views and adventurous outdoor activities such as zip-lining and rafting in the Cetina River. History enthusiasts can visit the medieval fortress in Omis or the charming coastal town of Split, just a short drive away, where you can explore the unesco World Heritage Site of Diocletian’s Palace. With its combination of natural beauty and cultural richness, Sumpetar is the perfect base for your Dalmatian getaway.
