Villa Davo is a newly-built, luxurious holiday home nestled in an idyllic countryside that characterises the quiet village of Štokovci. It’s set within a lush garden that’s the ideal place for soaking up the tranquil atmosphere.
With a clean, contemporary look throughout, Villa Davo offers both comfort and style in every room. The villa features an abundance of high-quality granite and wood, which reflects its naturally beautiful surroundings. The colour palette of white and shades of soft grey complement the furnishings and features perfectly.
On the ground floor is the open-plan living space. The lounge features two comfortable sofas and armchair in front of a flat screen television for the ultimate in relaxation. They’re also positioned to make the most of the views out the sliding doors, which open straight onto the outdoor terrace.
Doors line this whole wall of the living space and can also be found by the dining table, which seats up to 10 people — following on from here in the fully-equipped kitchen. It has every amenity you could need, including an American-style fridge freezer with ice maker, dishwasher and coffee machine.
There’s also a small island with seats for grabbing a quick breakfast. The laundry room is a fantastic convenience and offers a washing machine, iron, ironing board and hairdryer. Another great space is the games/leisure room with a table tennis table and gym equipment.
There are also three bedrooms with a television and ensuite bathroom each on the ground floor. Two bedrooms have a king size bed, and the other features two single beds. All are individually air-conditioned, creating cool and restful places to enjoy a great night’s sleep in.
To the first floor are the remaining two bedrooms. Each has an ensuite bathroom and access to a large balcony with sun loungers via sliding doors.
The main terrace is home to a beautiful infinity pool that’s surrounded by sun loungers and an outdoor sofa. There’ also a partially-covered dining area with built-in barbecue for enjoying delicious al fresco meals.
Steps take you down in the walled garden area with a lovely area of lawn. Perfect for the little ones is a small playground with swings and a climbing frame, with older children sure to love the multi-purpose football and basketball pitch.As Villa Davo is found within a rural, secluded village setting, you’ll need to jump in the car to reach amenities and attractions. There is, however, a small roadside bar just a few minutes’ walks from the villa. It also offers the chance to hire mountain bikes and go on quad bike trips in the area.
The closest place for picking up groceries and enjoying evening meals out is the small town of Svetvinčenat, which is less than a 10-minute drive away from the villa. It’s a very charming place to explore too.
The beautiful Renaissance square is where much of the activity revolves, with several festivals being held here throughout the year. Close by is a medieval castle that could have been plucked straight from the pages of a fairytale! There are also a couple of ancient churches.
Fažana is just 20 minutes away by car and is the closest place to enjoy a day out by the sea. This characterful town boasts a lovely promenade on which to stroll along while soaking up the views over the sea. Near the boardwalk is a pebble beach that’s very relaxed and family-friendly, with beautiful, clear water that’s ideal for swimming.
There are plenty of restaurants to choose from for sampling some local fish or seafood for lunch - and a beach bar serving delicious cocktails. Pine trees offer natural shade, and there’s also the chance to hire sun loungers and parasols.
A 30-minute drive will take you to the seafront city of Pula. It’s has a rich past, with plenty of ancient sightseeing to do - making it perfect for lovers of history and culture.The Villa
