Stunningly situated on a serene, secluded cove a short distance north of Dubrovnik, the 4-bedroom Villa Malvina accommodates up to 8 guests in Adriatic opulence and coastal charm.
Stepping into the villa, guests are greeted by an airy, open living and dining area defined by tasteful neutral tones and plush furnishings. Floor-to-ceiling windows looking out onto serene water views invite natural light into the space, generating a bright ambience for memorable meals.
The open-plan living and dining area seamlessly flows into the adjacent kitchen, which is fully equipped to cater to culinary enthusiasts. Whether you’re tossing together a Mediterranean Salad or preparing a holiday feast for family and friends, this kitchen’s range of modern appliances and ample counter space make cooking a dream.
Villa Malvina offers four well-appointed bedrooms spread over its two storeys. On the ground floor and adjacent to the living room guests will find a sleekly decorated bedroom including a queen-sized bed, TV, closet and access to the guest bathroom with shower. Ascending the stairs reveals three more bedrooms, including the spacious master bedroom with queen-sized bed, chic dedicated work space, and ensuite bathroom with shower. Another bedroom includes a queen-sized bed, TV, closet, vaulted wooden ceiling and access to a family bathroom and shower which it shares with the last bedroom – which also consists of a queen-sized bed, storage space, and TV.
Of course, Villa Malvina’s sprawling terrace is a real highlight. Here guests can dive into the turquoise swimming pool, relax on sun loungers on the lawn or dine al fresco. What is more, the terrace boasts direct access to the shoreline, meaning guests can wake up and dive in the Adriatic or take a kayak for a paddle around the secluded bay which Villa Malvina calls home.
Whether you are a family seeking a retreat or a group of friends eager for a memorable getaway, Villa Malvina invites you to create lasting memories in a haven of comfort and beauty.
Stunningly situated in a secluded bay north of Dubrovnik (a 20-minute drive), Villa Malvina is a sanctuary, but that doesn’t mean it’s isolated. The short trip around, or across, the bay brings guests to the beautiful port town of Zaton, where they can find beaches, restaurants, cafes, and markets.
But of course, with such proximity to the city dubbed by the poet Byron as “the pearl of the Adriatic”, the Dubrovnik Riviera is the local highlight and one of the most beautiful locales in Europe. Outside the city’s medieval walls are countless spots to swim and sunbathe, while within the city walls the Old Town’s limestone streets and Baroque churches are endless enough to get lost in.
Game of Thrones fans will recognise many parts of the city as filming locations, including Fort Lovrjenac for the Red Keep, and the Rector’s Palace as the Spice King’s Qarth abode. There are even dedicated tours on offer. But don’t forget, Fort Lovrjenac regularly transforms into an outdoor theatre space in the summertime where plays by Shakespeare are regularly performed – but you’ll need to get tickets in advance!
Interestingly, some of that history isn’t as old as you might think. Indeed, the Red History Museum shows how Croatians lived when their country was a part of Socialist Yugoslavia (1945-1991); displays include a typical 1970s apartment and the sinister history of the Yogoslav secret police.
For a quieter but no less picturesque day out, nearby Mlini (25-minute drive) is a small, idyllic fishing village located halfway between Cavtat and Dubrovnik with a charming harbour, a delightful pebble and sand beach, cafés and restaurants and the most stunning sunsets.

Stunning. We went with high expectations and they were surpassed immediately. The most beautiful home in the most beautiful of locations - incredibly friendly and welcoming host owner who made our stay so much more incredible. He even fired up the grill for us one night, and brought fresh fruit and vegetables hand picked from his gardens.

Thanks again to Darko for this welcome, we had a great week in this peaceful haven and this beautiful villa by the water. The little touches, the house amenities, the canoes, everything was great!
