About this property

Relax and unwind in style at this superb modern villa on the Dubrovnik Riviera. Boasting breathtaking views of the glittering Adriatic, Villa Linka I sleeps ten guests in supreme comfort, in five air-conditioned king-size rooms all with stunning views of the surrounding lush countryside. With a fabulous terraced exterior, guests can relax by the enticing infinity pool during the day or sit with a drink on the balcony and watch the sun sink down in the evening. Located in the small resort of Orasac, the villa is within easy reach of Old Town Dubrovnik, as well as a selection of charming coves and bays along this part of the coast.

This spacious and airy newly-built villa creates a wonderful ambience of space and calm, with its high ceilings and clean, modern styling. The five king-size bedrooms ensure a blissful night’s sleep. Fully air-conditioned and furnished in crisp fresh bedlinen, guests will enjoy the glorious views through the floor to ceiling window. The en-suite bathrooms are immaculate, and perfect for freshening up with a hot shower after a day in the Croatian sun.

Steps lead guests down from the upper floor to the airy living area with its full-width patio doors opening onto a sensational terrace. Large comfy sofas invite guests to relax and socialise in comfort whilst enjoying the view. The smart, contemporary kitchen complete with breakfast bar is well-equipped with everything guests might need, and the dining table provides ample indoor seating.

Outside on the terrace, a second table is perfect for alfresco dining, alongside garden sofas where guests can relax with a chilled aperitif and breathe in the fragrant scent of the lemon and pine trees that surround the villa. From the terrace, exterior steps lead down to the beautiful secluded pool area, where loungers beckon guests to lie back with a book and let their cares drift away in the warmth of the Dalmatian sun before taking a cooling dip in the glittering infinity pool.

Villa Linka I is located next to our other property, Villa Linka II, which sleeps 8 guests between 4 bedrooms. Each property can be rented individually, but the villas may also work well for larger groups looking to stay together while maintaining individual privacy.

The small coastal village of Orasac sits on this green and lush stretch of coastline just 10 miles from Dubrovnik and offers peace and tranquillity next to the turquoise waters of the Adriatic. Backed by green hillsides punctuated with the elegant needlepoints of cypress trees and shimmering olives, the village is home to a selection of luxurious hotels, restaurants and bars. The area is dominated by Dubrovnik, known as the Pearl of the Adriatic, a beautiful city with a fascinating and complex history. Today Old Town Dubrovnik has become a magnet for tourists keen to admire its magnificent city walls and explore its winding cobbled streets and historic buildings.

Enter the Ploce Gare which leads you into the city walls greeted by fragrant pine trees and the attractive old harbour. Follow the street until it opens into the Stradun, or Placa. The elegant Sponza Palace sits to the right and to the left is the Rector’s Palace, now home to the Historical Cultural Museum. The long, broad central street of Old Town Dubrovnik is lined with beautiful stone buildings and paved with shining limestone. Browse the interesting shops or relax in one of the many restaurants and cafes, the tables of which spill out onto the Stradun. Explore the narrow side streets of this medieval city. At the far end is the famous circular Onofrio Fountain. Before the Pile Gate, steps lead up to the city walls, from where you can begin the 2km walk around the city walls and enjoy the view of the maze of terracotta-roofed houses and narrow streets below. Having been used extensively as a set location for TV show Game of Thrones, fans will be in their element, with familiar locations at every turn.

Dubrovnik is also ideal as a base for exploring further afield with numerous day trips available. A two-hour drive will take you to the unesco protected town of Kotor in Montenegro or north to Mostar in Bosnia Herzegovina. Visit the stunning waterfall at Kravice on the Trebizat River and the historic town of Mostar. Wine lovers will enjoy a visit to the beautiful Peljesac Peninsula, home to some of Croatia’s finest vineyards, just an hour’s drive away. Most vineyards offer visitors a tour and a chance to sample some of the superb wines.

With so many islands along the coast, guests may wish to take advantage of the many boat trips available. From thrilling speedboat tours to luxurious chartered yachts, Dubrovnik offers a wealth of opportunities to explore its beautiful islands, from day trips to Korcula and island cruises around the Elafiti islands to a quick trip over to nearby Lokrum which is served by regular water taxis from the city harbour.
