The old town of Veprinac can be reached by passing through the impressive main gate with its three distinctive arches. Cultural sites such as St. Anne's Chapel with its beautiful frescoes, as well as the old town hall’s historic collection, offer glimpses into Veprinac’s fascinating past, while the endless views of the shimmering bay from the Church of St. Mark are bound to delight all those who visit. During the summer months, the town is home to captivating folk festivals, with performances by local singing groups and plenty of opportunities to sample delicious delicacies and Istrian wines.

Hiking and cycling enthusiasts will be delighted by the trails on offer, which lead down into the lively town of Opatija or up to the dense forests and mesmerising sights of the Učka Nature Park. Ičići is home to another beautiful, well-maintained beach.

For the chance to see Opatija from a new perspective, hop on a boat tour to take in the spectacular sights of the Kvarner Riviera, with views of the fishing village of Mošćenička Draga and the quaint old town of Lovran.
