The Highland capital of Inverness is just 26 miles away and fans of the Outlander series can easily visit nearby locations featured in the series, such as the Clava Cairns (21 miles) next to Culloden Battlefield. Nairn Golf Club (10 miles) offers a championship course that has hosted many major golf tournaments, and Castle Stuart Golf Links (21 miles) has hosted two Scottish Opens, attracting golfers from all over the world.

There are also various Whisky Distilleries to visit such as Benromach, Glenburgie and Dunphail. Once there, you can sample the various whiskies and take a tour round the distillery.
