Beaumaris 3.3 miles. Long Cottage is an attractive, stone-built cowshed settled just a few miles from Beaumaris on the Isle of Anglesey. Well-presented throughout, this inviting abode is the perfect choice for a family of four looking to escape normality and uncover the beauty of Anglesey. After finding ample off-road parking, step inside and make yourself at home in the lounge, complete with two large leather sofas and a TV, inviting you to settle down. Move into the kitchen, where the house chef can impress the group with a tasty meal, equipped with all the necessities from a short break. Take the stairs to the first-floor, housing two neatly presented bedrooms, including a king-size and a twin, both with ample storage for your personal belongings. Start the morning with a rinse in the contemporary shower room before heading outside and enjoying your breakfast from the picnic table. Long Cottage is a wonderful choice for a family looking to escape everyday life and uncover the Isle of Anglesey. Note: This property can be booked with Ref. 1129731, together they sleep 10 with an adjoining door to make one large property.
The most beautiful sunrises may be seen in Beaumaris, a well-known ancient town on the Isle of Anglesey that is situated on the Menai Strait and overlooks the Snowdonia mountain range. It is also well-known as a significant hub for sailing, with its Edward I-era mediaeval castle (now a World Heritage site) and Victorian pier, jail, and courthouse. With a long history, Beaumaris still has a lot of its original mediaeval street layout. The town's environment, diversity of architectural styles and eras, variable scale, open spaces, different roofing, and overall quality all play a significant role in the character of the community. In addition to a golf course close by, the town offers a good assortment of stores, eateries, and bars, as well as options for boat trips and fishing. Red Wharf Bay, also known as Traeth Coch (Red Beach), is a sizable bay along the coast that is well-known for its spectacular sunsets. Due to the bay's extreme shallowness, approximately 25 square kilometres (10 square miles) of sand are exposed at low tide, making it safe for swimming, excellent for family outings, fishing, and miles of breathtakingly beautiful hikes. The port of Holyhead, farther away, has frequent ferry connections to Dublin. Beaumaris is a great starting point for seeing Wales because of its ideal location on the south coast of the charming Isle of Anglesey and proximity to the magnificent Snowdonia mountains.
