Guests can stroll through fields to the estuary and beach in just fifteen minutes or wander to the pub in five. Nearby beaches are equally spectacular, from the dunes and colourful beach huts of Old Hunstanton to the sweeping sands of Brancaster and the breathtaking beauty of Holkham Bay, famous for its appearance in Shakespeare in Love. Walks between Holkham and Wells-next-the-Sea are unforgettable, passing dunes, rivulets and colourful beach huts beneath Norfolk’s famous big skies.

Despite chilly days, we enjoyed ourselves at this thoughtfully equipped cottage. Pity we didn’t have children with us to make full use of the extensive gardens. We enjoyed the hospitality and good food at The White Horse. We have loved looking each day at the varied, delightful pictures on every wall. We all had particular favourites.
