It was well equipped with all you needed if cooking for yourself. The village was lovely as were the people we met. Jill and John the owners although next door were unobtrusive but we're happy to help if needed. Plenty of walks to do straight from the door and the pub at the end of the road perfect. All in all we had a lovely week and wouldn't hesitate to return.

It probably said in the listing that there wasnât a washing machine but it wasnât a major problem and would definitely go again!

It was in a lovely little village one mile outise Kirkby Stephen and was ideal for exploring Cumbria's Lake District and Yorkshire. The cottage was brilliant with the beds very comfortable. Everything we needed was in the cottage and if we needed anything extra, the owners (who were a lovely, friendly couple) were next door to help. Facilities were such that we didn't need a thing. I would highly recommend this property.
