Family members came from various parts of the UK so ideal location. Great location for property and had some good walks close by along the Churnet Valley cyclepath. Property was a good size, bedrooms all good for our visit - good to have linen and towels provided. Great large lounge area with wood burner fire which was lovely in the evening. Kitchen was a good space and large table for all to sit around. Kitchen chairs a little wobbly. Some general upkeep required: Bathroom door downstairs a little sticky - hard to open from the inside, Front door found difficult to lock when leaving property.

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived because we felt like the pictures didn't do it justice. It was bigger than expected with a lovely countryside/homely vibe. The host was helpful over text, and even allowed us late check out. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend!

Living room was spacious and very comfortable. Kitchen table was not in the least sturdy and the same goes for the kitchen chairs. Majority of mattresses had seen far better days. House needs a deep clean!
