The facilities, cleanliness and maintenance are 100%. In fact, we thought the property was a relatively new build or at least recently refurbished it was so clean and in such good condition. The heating was superbly effective and coupled with the privacy, quiet and lack of light pollution meant the stay was incredibly relaxing. The locality is very rural and virtually flat which is ideal for cycling and walking although all tastes could be accommodated with pleasant towns, the coast, country parks, museums and stately homes all being within easy reach. All in all, fantastic. We would definitely recommend this property and if you were ever only going to hire one holiday cottage then it should be this one.

The kitchen was well stocked with equipment. A very peaceful location out in the countryside with just the sound of sheep in the field across the lane and only the occasional vehicle passing by. If you like solitude this is the place, yet only a 20 minute drive to the lovely town of Holt. We certainly hope to return.

Very remote but ideal location to explore Norfolk. Very clean and tidy with nice furniture and facilities . Loved waking up to hear sheep and the distant sound of cockerels. As itâs self catering and a long way from shops, a slightly bigger fridge/freezer would be useful so a bigger shop could be done beforehand.
