We recently visited Ash Hill for a short weekend break. The home is beautiful and well kept cleaning and very spacious. Everything provided as necessity bedding towels etc the area is nice however roads in and out awful. Pot holes unavoidable down the dirt track to the property ended up scraping the sill of our car. The property itself lovely however the temperature inside the property was not allowed to be adjusted and it was way too warm inside. Had all the windows open which helped on night one but night two there was no breeze and we all baked. That was my only issue with the place maybe provide fans or have the temperature be adjustable. Would recommend as still a lovely place.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely Airbnb in the New Forest. The property was spotless, beautifully presented, and perfectly located for exploring the surrounding forest and nearby villages. What really stood out was how toddler-friendly it was — thoughtful touches like a stair gate, high chair, travel cot, secure garden space, and plenty of room to play made the trip completely stress-free for us as parents. The hosts were welcoming and responsive, providing clear instructions and great local recommendations. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend it to families visiting the area.
