Finkle Cottage is found in the middle of Pooley Bridge with its own private parking and views over the local countryside. Nestled quietly away from the main road, it is hard to believe just how central you are. Suitable for a family holiday, this detached cottage offers three large bedrooms and a family bathroom upstairs. Downstairs you have a living room with Multi-fuel burner, and a dining room/snug also with a multi-fuel burner. There is also a conservatory and large boot room, and outside it has its own parking and a large garden with sitting-out areas.
The village is found at the outfall of Ullswater Lake, in the Lake District National Park, and the area offers some of the most wonderful landscapes in the region from the privacy of a secluded rural setting. It is just a short walk from Ullswater Lake, with its walking, watersports and ponderous steamers. This area offers many forms of recreation, whatever season you choose to visit. Shop, pub and restaurant within 100 yards.

Smells of dog when you first arrive, but that's the entrance... cottage very clean comfy and well equipped, our third visit. Great locationThe bathroom shower needs attention... pressure and toohot. Great base for the lakes

Lovely little cottage ideally situated in the centre of Pooley Bridge. The cottage was very well stocked with tea, coffee and sugar etc and also shower gel and shampoo so no need to take these things with you. There was also lots of cleaning products provided which was ideal when you have 3 wet dogs with you. Logs were provided to get you started but they can be purchased from the shop at the end of the street. The cottage was bigger than I expected but still had a nice cosy feel to it. Will definitely be booking it again.

Lovely lovely all round cottage , comfortable and clean Two housekeeping negatives to mention , hoover full to bursting with no clean bags , Henry , so had to empty and reuse , yuk before we left Second all the frying pans were rubbish , non stick non existent. Think beef to buy a new one .
