This ideal walkers’ apartment is centrally located in the popular town of Ambleside, in fact there are many places you can explore by just walking from your doorstep! It may be a studio apartment, but you are not short of space and comfort, the cosy living area, with its electric wood burner, is an ideal place to relax in after a full days outing. There is a dining area if you decide to stay in, but with so many of Ambleside’s renowned eating places a stone’s throw away, it will be hard not to step back out over the threshold. After a night’s sleep in the comfortable bed, step into the superb shower room for an invigorating start to your day. If you fancy a hearty breakfast, the kitchen has everything you need, and don’t worry about the washing up as the dishwasher will take care of that. Delve into your guide books and walking maps, and you will be ready for discovering the area, be it Lake Windermere, the ferry terminal is just a short walk away, or the spectacular 70-foot waterfall at Stock Ghyll Force, which is well worth a visit. Ambleside has plenty of dog friendly inns, so after an excellent days walking, you and your pooch can sit back, enjoy a local ale and some good Lakeland food. Very nice cottage with all appliances you require. there is mud at the bottom of the steps near the rear gate that is hard not to walk in when the weather is bad.A mop at the property would help.

This was our 3rd time staying here in the last couple of years as its location is ideal whether travelling by public transport (literally 2 minutes from the bus stop) or car (car park over the road).It has everything you need for a weekend away or a longer stay.The best part about this property is easy access to areas including: Windermere, Coniston, Grasmere and Keswick.
