Guests say

Greystones Cottage is praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and prime location for exploring the Dales. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, cosy sofas, and good beds. The peaceful setting and proximity to Hawes make it ideal for walkers and those seeking a quiet retreat. Some minor issues with road noise and a bathroom leak are noted, but overall, guests are highly satisfied and keen to return.

The cottage receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews mentioning it being 'spotlessly clean'. However, one mention of cobwebs slightly lowers the score.

The location is well-regarded for its convenience to walking and cycling routes, and its proximity to Hawes. The road noise and tricky exit are slight drawbacks.

Comfort is consistently praised, with mentions of comfy sofas and good beds. One review suggests the living room could be improved, affecting the score marginally.

Facilities are generally appreciated, especially the well-equipped kitchen. However, a reported leak and a comment on the shower timing indicate some maintenance issues.

There are no mentions of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Perfect (and peaceful) location for us to tick off more of the Dales 30, then relax and watch the sunsets in the evenings either down the road on the terrace at the nearby hotel or from the comfort of the pub which is also only a short walk away.

Wonderful, warm and welcoming cottage. Absolutely spotlessly clean, well equipped kitchen, 2 big comfy sofas, and good beds. Ample hot water and central heating. Great location for walks and cycle routes from the cottage and a good base for exploring a wide range of places across the dales. The only slight issue is it is right next to the road, so passing cars can be heard during the day, but no problem or noise at night. The exit from the cottage by car is next to a blind bend, so helpful to have someone to stand on the road to safely go out. Overall an excellent cottage, really good value for money, and we will definitely return.
