The cottage’s character and thoughtful touches make it a popular choice for families and groups seeking a relaxing Exmoor getaway.

Most guests found the cottage clean and well looked after, with several specifically mentioning cleanliness. However, a small number of reviews noted issues such as old cobwebs and chipped crockery, which slightly lowered the overall impression.

Guests frequently mention the cottage’s cosy atmosphere, spaciousness, and especially the comfortable beds and bedding. The property is described as warm and inviting, suitable for families and groups.

The cottage is well equipped with multiple bathrooms, a modern kitchen, utility room, and good Wi-Fi. Some minor issues were noted, such as low water pressure, broken sockets, and maintenance concerns, but overall facilities are appreciated.

Several guests mention being greeted with a cream tea and finding helpful local information, books, and DVDs. While these thoughtful touches are appreciated, please note that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.
