Stable Cottage offers a peaceful and comfortable retreat in the countryside, praised for its cleanliness, well-equipped interiors, and tranquil setting. Guests appreciate the relaxing garden and proximity to scenic walks and local pubs. While the cottage is not within easy walking distance of villages and some guests noted slow internet and a boiler smell, the overall experience is positive, making it an excellent base for exploring the area.

Multiple reviews highlight the cottage as beautifully clean, tidy, and well-maintained, with no significant complaints apart from one mention of a boiler smell, which does not appear to affect overall cleanliness.

The cottage is described as being in a quiet, peaceful location ideal for relaxation and countryside walks. However, it is not within safe walking distance of nearby villages, requiring a short drive for shops and pubs.

Guests consistently mention the cottage as comfortable, cosy, and homely, with comfortable bedding and a welcoming atmosphere.

The cottage is well-equipped with everything needed for a stay, though there are some minor issues noted such as slow or intermittent internet and a gas boiler smell.

There are no mentions of welcome gifts or extra thoughtful touches in the reviews, so a score cannot be provided for this category.

We did find the internet connection was both rather slow and also intermittent. However, Openreach staff were working in the area, and it could be the signal will be better in the future.
