Villa Aspasia holds a fabulous location close to Pelekas, one of Corfu's most desired villages. The spectacular views across Corfu and out across the Mediterranean Sea resulted in Kaiser Wilhelm of Austria naming the top of Pelekas Hill "Kaiser's Throne" for its beauty as well as its strategic importance. Today, it makes a fantastic choice for a family holiday to Corfu with many bars, cafe's and restaurants, nearby beaches, resorts a water park and a golf course. There really is something for everyone!
The luxurious villa has been lovingly designed, combining high end finishes and furnishings with a homely feel, comfortably sleeping up to eight guests across four bedrooms set over one level. The large open-plan living accommodation comprises of a sitting area, dining facilities and modern fitted kitchen and makes a great space for the whole family to enjoy. Also on this level is the master bedroom which boasts a large double bed and access to a private veranda, next door is a family bathroom. There is also a cosy bunk bed room perfect for the youngsters! The remaining bedrooms can be found in the west wing, these are both twin rooms, one of which can be converted into a double should that be required. In this wing there is also a second bathroom.
Outside, there is a large pergola covered veranda with dining facilities and a large brick outdoor barbecue, perfect for a spot of al fresco dining! Children and adults alike will enjoy splashing around in the swimming pool, while for the little ones, there is a play area which can be overseen from anywhere in the garden.
Villa Aspasia makes an excellent choice for families, with some of the most popular attractions being found in the central-west region of Corfu Island. The unesco World Heritage site of Corfu Old Town is just twenty-five minutes away and makes a must visit - its quaint restaurants and narrow pebbled streets are worth experiencing at least once.
For any keen golfers, Corfu Golf Club is just ten minutes away - it is considered one of the best well-maintained Golf clubs in Europe!
Aqualand Water Park is less than fifteen minutes away and makes a fun day out for the whole family. Pelekas Beach is little over five minutes away, the soft sand and crystal clear blue waters make it a popular choice for both locals and tourists. Corfu Airport is just twenty minutes from the villa making it a stress-free transfer for those travelling with excited little ones!

Villa Aspasia was a beautifully clean and spacious villa, with every amenity provided. The pool was Such a treat- crystal clear with salt of magnesium to gentle clean (rather than chorine) so it was lovely and soft on our skin. The owner couldn't have been more accommodating. Set up high in the hillside, it's such a peaceful and quiet getaway. There is small bar /Taverna just 50m from the Villa. Excellent food for brunch, lunch or dinner, excellent cocktails and lovely owners. The villa is situated just outside of the traditional Greek village Pelekas- it about a ten minute walk to the village market square where you'll find a bakery, supermarket, a couple of cafes, small bars and traditional Greek tavernas. You will need a car to get around - although nothing too big - we made the mistake hiring a 9 seater van which was tricky to drive around the narrow roads to say the least! Glyfada and Pelekas beach are a short drive away - Glyfada is better with nicer tavernas, watersports etc. We hope to return to this villa again!

We spent a fantastic week at Villa Aspasia as two families with four young children. We were really impressed with the villa itself. It was spacious, clean and the swimming pool was perfect, especially for the children. We really enjoyed eating outside in the covered patio area in the evenings. Pelekas itself was only a short walk away and whilst small it has a number of nice restaurants. Glyfada beach is a beautiful sandy beach and is only a short drive away. We felt very looked after by the owners, even bringing fresh eggs for breakfast! An excellent place, many thanks!
