What our customers are saying about our Large Cottages In Angus To Rent.
Mrs Helen Murphy, Cwmbran, Torfaen - verified booking
"Wonderful size property with lots of room to spread out. Lovely features such as original fire places, sash windows and a wonderful staircase. Billiard room kept many occupied in the evenings whilst others enjoyed the peace of the drawing room. All bedrooms have their own en-suite (baths with showers over), these are spacious and all in our party of 10 slept well. As there is no pub within walking distance, the Bar had plenty of use, it's generously equipped with plenty of fridge space. The grounds are beautiful with plenty of areas for kids to play and explore. We used the external caterers recommended the owner for a 50th Birthday celebration. We would highly recommend these to anyone looking to have a special meal during their stay."

"The Beauty of Glen Clova and the perfect location to hill walk and see nature fauna and Flaura at its best We had Beautiful weather and the cottage allowed a family party to have a reunion and perfect stay at the southern edge of the Caingorms The House was spacious and the Aga made it Home From Home The sitting room was tastefully furnished with pleasant sporting prints decorating the Walls Fishing was available from the estate and lovely to find a trust system in place to pay for the fishing taken on the Lochs No mobile phone signal was a blessing but there was internet Access at the house that allow one to keep in touch with the outside world A real get away and a lovely week at the begining of June"

"Castleton House is a fantastic house especially for a large party (we were 10 in total plus 3 dogs). All the bedrooms were enormous with lovely furnishings in keeping with the house and spacious en suite bathrooms. The roomy living accommodation meant that we were never on top of each other and with plenty of entertainment from the billiard room, table tennis and board games, we were never short of things to keep us amused. The house was everything we had hoped for and more, a really enormous place with delightful furnishings and within easy reach of some interesting and beautiful places to visit from lovely beaches to historic houses; Angus has it all!"

"What an awesome setting and absolutely ideal as an escape from the madding crowd. No phone signal and no wi fi make this perfect. Our 2 teenage kids got used to this surprisingly quickly. Bob is on hand to ensure all is well and you settle in perfectly . The nearest pub is 6 miles away but well worth the drive . The Glen Isla hotel is well worth a visit . The setting of the cottage is sublime . The hot tub is perfect. There are plenty things to do whilst winding down Well worth a visit and thanks must go to Bob for allowing us to stay at his cracking cottage. It ain’t full of modern amenities but that is the charm so please don’t change Thanks Richard"

"We had an adventure as we arrived on the day the Beast from the East hit the country and we found ourselves and two spaniels marooned for a week expect for a short break in the storm midweek which allowed a visit to Arbroath to stock up at Morrison’s. The central heating was first class and the wood fire very cosy and cheered us up in the evenings. The World indoor Olympics was on that week which was a bonus and I got inspired by the winter scenes through the large picture windows and painted the views. The dogs were happy (with coats on) sniffing and exploring the well fenced garden. Excellent all round.will be back in better weather."
