Yippee-ki-yay Holidaymakers!

Calling all John McClanes, Holly Gennaro McClanes, and Hans Grubers for our Christmas stay offer

Come out to the coast and have a few laughs this Christmas with our Die Hard event! If you’re lucky enough to share a name with Bruce Willis’ iconic John McClane, the late Alan Rickman’s Hans Gruber, or Bonnie Bedelia’s Holly Gennaro McClane you’re in with a chance to win a free stay with us.

Every year fans debate over whether Die Hard is a Christmas film or not, but with this giveaway we’re firmly planting our flag on the side of those who say Christmas isn’t Christmas until they’ve watched the 1988 classic.

Win a free property stay and limo ride!

Once chosen, the winner will have access to any available location across Snaptrip in England, Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland for stays between 1st December 2022 and 31st January 2023. And just like the movie when John McClane is driven to the Nakatomi Plaza in a limo, our Yippee-ki-yay Holidaymaker will also have the option to be driven from home to their chosen location in style (Argyle not included).

Upon arrival, John, Holly, or Hans and their guests will be greeted with a Die Hard themed hamper including a copy of the film, hot chocolate kits complete with whipped cream and marshmallows, popcorn, and other Christmas goodies to help them get into the festive spirit.

Matt Fox, CEO and co-founder of Snaptrip, said,

“Yippee-ki-yay holidaymakers! With last Christmas still under Covid restrictions, this year at Snaptrip we wanted to have a little fun and what better way to do that than give a free night away to namesakes from the most controversial of Christmas movies - Die Hard.

“Whatever side of the debate you find yourself on, if your name is John McClane or even Hans Gruber we can find you a free night anywhere in the UK. Perhaps you and your family can go out to the coast, get together, and have a few laughs…international terrorist plot not included!”
