What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Ceredigion To Rent.

"Beautiful property and very clean, however the sofas in the back lounge were old and you had to keep taking them off and replace for comfort. The single beds were uncomfortable to sleep on possibly need new mattresses. The area and views were outstanding but nothing local to walk to ie shop pub (closed in the day). We had two young children and they were looking forward to playing in the onsite play area, but unfortunately it was so boggy with mud they couldn’t enjoy it. This would be a recommendation for the owners to focus on for future bookings with children. Local towns were about 20-30 min drive with very little around other than seaside trinket shops. Some lovely places to eat/drink. If your looking for a chilled out time not wanting to venture far then this area would be just right."

"It’s difficult to review this for the following reason. We had booked a cottage the previous week but had not been informed that our first choice cottage had been double booked. We only found out by chance when traffic delay meant our arrival was going to be after 7:00pm upon calling the owner we then found out we had nowhere to stay. So this cottage was all that was available it setting was more rural than we were expecting and further away. All this aside however this cottage was in a very tranquil location with superb view over countryside. The cottage provided a very relaxing atmosphere. The patio was a delight with no light pollution so good views of the stars also lack of light pollution gave us brilliant nights sleep very relaxing. Overall we enjoyed this cottage and would return."

"The area is beautiful. The bungalow was easy to live in with a young child with an ideal garden to toddle around in and play room mainly used by the adults ! The coast is spectacular with a path to walk along and Red Kites and other birds to observe. We had our grandson with us and he and his parents liked the deserted beach at Borth, the organic deli and the children's play area in Aberystwyth Admittedly the weather was kind to us but there were things to do if it was raining including the steam train from Devils Bridge and the museum in Aberystwyth which they particularly found interesting."

"Absolutely lovely place! The owners are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. There is everything you need, children are made very welcome and there is a folder with everything you can think of to do nearby.Really well located. Close to New Quay where we saw lots of dolphins on our boat ride and spent a great day at the sandy beach. There is a lovely little, enclosed field at the back of the cottage for children to play and a courtyard garden for the adults to watch them and have a bbq. We were really pleased with our choice and will visit again."

"With Rose Cottage you are custodians of something quite special. Rose reflects the many hours of hard graft you have put into virtually rebuilding the cottage to the very highest standard, whilst maintaining the period features and atmosphere. You should both be very proud. We have spent a lovely week relaxing to birdsong and the burbling of the river. We have also enjoyed exploring the delights of the coast and villages, including the lovely country walk into Borth. Thank you very much for the stay, which has been well worth the long journey!"
