What our customers are saying about our Self Catering Holidays In Clackmannanshire.

"This cottage looked good from the description and pictures but was more spacious than we had expected, had loads of storage everywhere, and was full of nice little touches. It was warm and the heating was so easy to adjust, and we really needed it as it was bitterly cold weather during our stay. An electric 'woodburner' added to the cosy feel, although the heating elements never needed to be on for long and lots of imaginitive lamps made it feel so homely and welcoming. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could think of and an abundance of crockery and glasses. There are lots of books, games and DVDs - which we made good use of with the weather being so bad. Had the weather been better it would have been lovely to sit in the garden and enjoy the view of the beautiful Ochil hills, and we could shut the gates to allow the children to play freely and safely. It was a joy to stay in Tilly Cottage and we hope to return."

"Tilly cottage is a lovely little cottage well placed for exploring Stirling and the Trossachs. There are lots of things to do in easy reach, Castle Campbell, The Wallace Monument, Stirling Castle, The Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies and even St Andrew's beach is a reasonable drive. The cottage was lovely and clean and had everything you could need for your stay. The layout meant that there was space for everyone to spread out in the house on rainy days (it is Scotland after all), and there was even a selection of games to keep us amused. And I must mention the Juniper Bar and Restaurant which had amazing locally sourced food. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it! Thank you!"

"The cottage was ideally suited for close family who spent Christmas Day with me. On arriving, I was astonished to find a Christmas tree in the fireplace and decorations on some of the fixtures including a central wreath (with candle) for the dining table. Switching on the stereo revealed a Christmas Pop Tunes CD in the player! These small thoughtful touches were highly appreciated as were other "wintry" touches such as shawls on the sofas and hot water bottles, not actually needed as the heating was efficient. "

"The house is spacious and beautifully appointed, especially in the kitchen/breakfast room and lounge/dining room. It is warm with very easily controlled heating. There is loads of storage space everywhere and everything we could possibly need, including DVDs, books and games, so handy as the weather was awful while we were there. The big gated garden was safe for the children to play in and the view of the Ochils from the back magnificent. We would all love to stay there again."

"The bathroom window and door were hinged on the wrong side. That's just a matter of preference though. Couldn't get on with the spring loaded stools but that's a matter of preference too. Could have done with the kitchen being where the lounge was and the lounge in the kitchen space only because we could have done with a bit more work tops. But overall loved it and very comfortable and had everything we needed."
