Be welcomed by the grey stone exterior of this charming abode and park off-road, entering through the stable door and unpacking with ease into an open-plan living space with vaulted ceilings. Finding yourself in a light and airy social hub with contemporary décor and an opulent feel, recline in the sitting area and plan your itinerary for the week with a coffee in hand. Here there is also a TV for movie nights, a dining table for four and a lovely kitchen area fitted with all of the necessities needed to rustle up a storm. From the living area, patio doors open up onto a front patio with furniture, offering views across the park and towards the castle, an ideal spot for enjoying a tipple in the afternoon sunshine. After a long day enjoying the local beach, freshen up in the contemporary shower room before settling down into either a beautifully presented master bedroom with built-in wardrobes or a delightful twin. Harlech is also home to a renowned golf course, so why not try out a game or two before making the most of the spectacular sandy beach? Visit the incredible Italian-style village of Portmeirion where guests can stroll through the picturesque gardens and take in the intriguing architecture. Further from the property you will find the town of Criccieth where there is a second castle and beach, and beyond that, the breath-taking scenery of the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park. Situated in a magnificent position between the mountains and the sea, the delightful small town of Harlech is dominated by its majestic 13th century castle. Harlech Castle is recognised as the most impressive of all those built in North Wales by Edward I and has World Heritage status. The town is very popular with golfers, who come to enjoy the famous Royal St. Davids course, whilst the beautiful sandy beach is wonderful for family fun and long walks. Harlech offers an excellent variety of amenities including some good quality restaurants, whilst the whole of the Snowdonia National Park, together with the sandy beaches of Cardigan Bay, are all within easy reach.

The owner personally made sure that we had everything we needed and had also provided some little extras in the form of fresh milk, eggs and welsh cakes. We enjoyed our stay here very much and would stay here again.
