Lords Hill Barn is a well-regarded cottage praised for its idyllic location, cleanliness, and high-standard conversion. Guests appreciate the peaceful setting, proximity to local amenities, and thoughtful touches like an EV charge point. While some guests suggest improvements, the overall sentiment is positive, with many expressing a desire to return.
The property generally receives high marks for cleanliness, with several reviews noting it as spotless and well-maintained. However, a few guests reported issues with cleanliness, which slightly impacts the overall score.
The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, beautiful views, and convenient access to local trails and amenities. It is considered a strong asset of the property.
Guests find the property comfortable, with special mentions of comfy beds and a homely feel. Some concerns about the suitability of the bunk beds for adults and the temperature in certain rooms slightly lower the score.
The property is well-equipped, with a modern kitchen and good bathroom facilities. However, some guests noted a lack of instructions for appliances and issues with maintenance, suggesting room for improvement.
While some guests mentioned welcome gifts such as milk and biscuits, the inconsistency in provision and the lack of a guaranteed welcome pack means this category cannot be scored. It is important to note that such gifts, while appreciated, are not assured.

It has everything you need for a perfect stay - good facilities, ease of parking and very quiet. The owner's ginger cat was a frequent visitor but we did not let him in. We cut short our stay because the weather turned against us but we had a very pleasant stay for 11 nights.

Accommodation was exactly as expected. It was a little bit strange having the doors going to the private area especially at night when light coming through the bedroom door. Didn't distract from our enjoyment. Comfortable beds and furniture overall.
