Snaptrip says

Casa Carmen is a well-liked cottage in Weymouth, Dorset, praised for its prime location, comfortable beds, and spaciousness. It boasts a lovely garden and is within walking distance of the harbour and town centre. Guests appreciate the property's cleanliness and the thoughtful touches like a well-stocked hospitality bowl.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The property generally maintains good cleanliness, though some guests have noted issues with dusty areas, dirty cushions, and carpets needing attention. However, the majority found the house clean and tidy upon arrival.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to the town centre, harbour, and beach, making it an ideal spot for visitors looking to explore Weymouth. The quiet area adds to the appeal.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the house cosy, contributing to a pleasant stay. However, some have mentioned that the pillows are too flat and the curtains could be improved to block out light.

Facilities have received mixed reviews, with several guests expressing dissatisfaction with the small fridge and lack of freezer space. Other concerns include maintenance issues like blocked showers and ineffective heating. The driveway access is also noted as a challenge for parking.

While some guests have mentioned a pleasant smell and a well-stocked hospitality bowl, there is insufficient information to determine if gifts are consistently provided or if they meet the expectations of thoughtfulness across all stays.

Lovely house in a great location even if the drive entrance was a bit challenging. Only niggle was the fridge which is rather small and only has a tiny freezer compartment which makes it difficult when catering for 5 people.I note this has been an ongoing complaint for several years. We did hear creatures scuttling about in the roof and reported it to Dream Cottages. Other than that it was great and we would happily stay there avain

The bottom drawer is missing, the top freezer part doesn’t work and there are two small shelves that are shallow and you can’t even fit a pizza box in it. Seeing as the house is supposed to accommodate 5 adults there is no way that it is fit for use. As the visitors book only goes back 4 years and this has been a constant issue it really is about time they invest in an appropriate fridge. Inadequate cooking pots and pans for 5 adults. Both tin openers were broken. The oven when put on set the smoke alarm off so had to try and cook with the back door open so when it’s 2 degrees outside was a challenge. Maybe cleaning the oven would have prevented this. One of the bedrooms had no heating and as we rented the property in the winter this was unbearably cold. No hand towels in any toilet or bathroom which would have been helpful when washing hands. Light bulbs were missing in lamps and some main lights the bulbs had blown. The reason we rented the property was because my mum had been diagnosed with terminal cancer and it was an opportunity for all the family to come together one last time. We had to spend most of the time at the house due to mums illness and needed to cook for her daily which was challenging with what we had available to use. Overall we were disappointed.
