Guests appreciate the quiet location with stunning views, the inclusion of pets, and the friendly park staff. The on-site pub and the thoughtful touches like chilled wine add to the positive experience. While some minor cleanliness issues and maintenance needs are mentioned, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests planning to return.

Most guests found Lavender Lodge to be clean and well-kept, with only a few minor issues such as dust under beds and dog hairs on the sofa. These were exceptions rather than the norm, indicating a high standard of cleanliness overall.

The lodge's location is consistently praised for its tranquility, beautiful views, and proximity to local walks. The quiet setting and scenic surroundings contribute to a restful and enjoyable stay.

Guests report that the lodge is very comfortable, with modern furnishings, memory foam mattresses, and a cosy atmosphere. The lodge's comfort is a highlight for many visitors.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a good on-site pub and well-equipped kitchen. Some guests noted room for improvement, such as the need for a slip mat in the bath and a place for wet shoes. The availability of Wi-Fi and the provision of hand sanitiser were positively noted.

While guests have mentioned thoughtful gestures like chilled wine upon arrival, there is not enough information to determine if such gifts are a consistent offering. Therefore, it cannot be guaranteed that such thoughtfulness is a standard practice for all stays.

Would stay again. I’m not a lover of leather settees just a personal preference but everything else great nice and clean. Bed comfortable. Everything you need in the kitchen etc. love the Haybarn. Ate there every night. Good choice and well put together. Some good offers also. Nice not to worry about taking two nervous dogs who bark at every movement.
