Very nice and big garden at the back. Kitchen was very well equipped with utensils and appliances. Cons: Cleanliness was an issue and the apartment was not clean as you would expect. The carpet wasnât clean. There were spiders and other bugs all over in the property including beds. Wi-Fi had issues as the signal was very weak. Shower in downstairs bathroom was difficult to operate to get warm water.

Downstairs shower a bit tight but second toilet extremely useful. Excellent location for Lake District, close to all major tourist areas. Homely feel and we wouldnât hesitate to recommend the Bothy to visitors to this area.
