"<p><strong>This is THE place to go.</strong><br /> If you want to escape the rat race. Rolling hills and gentle mountains as a backdrop; farm animals a plenty; bubbling streams and rivers and lush meadows and emerald forests. Although the cottage is on the farm; you still feel you're in your own "bubble". The surrounding roads are not for the feint-hearted but the trade off is your views are worth the slow steep climbs and hair raising descents ! The pace of life is delightfully slow - ideal for recharging your batteries. I would recommend the goldmines; waterfall country and the lady of the lake lake (on a brighter day) - check the weather forecast and if you get a warm/hot day - Rhossili Bay is well worth the drive !</p> <p>Thank you for a lovely stay. Little "homely" touches were very welcome... and I can't thank you enough for being my knight in shining armour when my tyre burst ! You turned a crisis into a minor blemish in an instance. We had an amazing time. Thanks for the freedom to mix with the animals on the farm and explore. I have fallen in love with South Wales now !</p> "

Sarah and Jon have gone the extra mile to make the stay perfect, they had thought of everything. The gold mine was a great day out, make sure you do both tours. We walked up Pen y Fan and visted the tin mine and waterfall near Neath.</span>"

"Just returned from a lovely stay at the cottage. We brought our two dogs Billy & Bella who settled in nicely. The cottage had everything required and more. 3 lovely bedrooms for which our daughter Eve bagged one of the twins. Lovely and clean and spacious with a nice decked area to catch the evening sunshine. The weather for the week was wet initially but we did have 3 good dry days. There is a nice walk behind the cottage along the course of a river which was ideal on the doorstep. We visited the show caves. Rhossili and Three Cliffs Bay on the Gower. The waterfall at Heretyd was lovely too. All in all a great stay. The owners were lovely and the eggs that were provided were fantastic scrambled. We had good meals at the Tredegar pub over the road too. Thanks."

"The property is part of a complex of three houses on a sheep farm. At just fine house. Area is very nice and very quiet. Is located in the Brecon Beacons, about 20 miles from Brecon. House was quite remote and only accessible by not too good and very narrow weg.Passeren not possible. So hope you do not encounter oncoming traffic. Contrasting with the surroundings were the asphalt / parking at the door. Too bad that this is something more of it. Reception was quite coolly (key is in the door and you will find it from here ..... Owners live next to the cottages, but no interest if everything was okay). What sloppy little bugs in the house (curtains that you can not connect remote that does not work, dishwasher that would not close)."

"On arrival, we were looked at like aliens had landed! I can only assume it was because we had three teenage boys with us! We came out of the 'wrong' door on the first night of our stay, to be told abruptly that it was a fire door and wasn't to be used. There was no notice to this effect. Also when meeting one of the owners during our stay,I was going to buy some eggs from them - my dog came with me and I was met with a 'glare'. Dogs are permitted at the cottage. I felt very uncomfortable and put off asking for the eggs! Such a shame as the cottage was fabulous, well equipped and extremely comfortable. We would have booked again for next year, but the unfriendliness has put us off."
