"Arrived a little early so called owner to see if we could wait outside as no where open for a drink nearby. Said she would speak to husband on site but not to forget the £50 deposit!! Great start. We waited outside and were surprised to see it was pretty dull looking. Not bright like the online images. No garden or river nearby that we could see just a patio. We were allowed to check in early about 3.30pm. Inside was small open plan but looked nice and clean. Shown around and how.to use hot tub etc and deposit (no idea what this was for) was handed over.Well equipped kitchen and all ensuite rooms. But if it sleeps 6 why is there only 4 chairs in the lounge area which was tiny! We were.left milk and.fresh eggs which was a nice.touch...along with a manual telling us what the owners expected us to do on leaving.Nice central location for getting about. Nice Chinese in Abergele called wongs and a good takeaway too.Had a great week out and about. Especially recommend the Locked in Escape rooms in Abergele for a great evening.Hot tub was nice although I don't think it was working as it should be. Needed to be screened off was open to camp site and people going to farm no privacySadly we had a few niggles which could easily be sorted.Cat.....if you like to sleep.with windows open at night be prepared for the cat to come in a some early hour..both downstairs and upstairs on numerous occasions meaning being woken up by girls to get the cat out...okay if you like cats but if you scare.easily beware of this one.Wet room....cannot shower for.more than a minute as due to poor drainage and not enough slope water goes under door and floods bedroom...not good when your shoes are there.Cooker...no instructions on how to use oven as faded on dials.Windows no nets so had to keep curtains closed as.people.coming and going at farmhouse all the time...so not very private.Fridge....very noisy all the time new one needed.Tv nope useless and if you don't have a Now tv subscription you will need to get one or you're watching nothing. Broadband was okayish. No mobile signal at all.Cleaning...having read the folder on how to leave the property...can honestly say we have stopped in many cottages and have never been told we have to strip the beds...what are we actually paying for? Probably left it cleaner than when we arrived certainly cleaned up a lot of dead flies and spiders from behind beds.No sockets near any mirrors ladies.Found folder notes from owners quite short and.sharp came.across as unfriendly on paper.....quite nice in personCould not leave until property inspected....and then got deposit back.Although it's a great.location it needs some.tlcNot like the images as obvious paint and varnish has faded since taken. Oh and no bbq as shown in images on website.Would not go there again felt it overpriced for.what it is despite the location."

"Lovely place, ran by great people! After the warm welcome from Kim, thorough teachings of the equipment, some hints and tips of the area and a quick walk-around, we soon discovered how great this place is. There was even fresh scones and sourdough bread waiting for us! It's all extremely well equipped, modern and well fitted - but still very warm and cosy at the same time. It's got everything you could think of needing, plus more. Kitchen is modern and clean, bathroom and shower/bath are lovely (good water pressure), the bedroom is great and the living room is good too. Comfy sofa, log burner (with enough wood!), Full freesat TV, and even the Wifi was plenty fast enough for a bit of streaming/browsing. The place was warm, clean, comfy and very well put together as whole. The only downside we could think of with respect to the facilities was that there is no full length mirror, or a large well-lit one in the bathroom - but this was being extremely fussy! The hot tub definitely needs a mention too. Was great on the cold nights star-gazing with a gin and you can even bluetooth your music to its built in speakers. It's also easy to use. I'd never been fussed about hot-tubs in the past but now it's safe to say "I get it!".The views along the front of the property are amazing. You can see for miles - all the way out to the coastline, and on a clearer day you can even see Snowdon (apparently - weather wasn't on our side really!). Lovely to wake up to every day. After the initial introduction and welcome we were also very impressed by the privacy given to us. We didn't see anyone at all (despite them being closeby) in the entire 3 night stay, yet we had easy and fast contact should we need anything.Access to the place is good too, with local amenities in Bodfari down the road (3 mins drive), and then even more in Denbigh (10mins drive) with Morrisons etc. for anything you might need.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we'd very much come again should we visit the area again sometime in the near future."

"We had an amazing stay at this house with the family. We had booked this as a surprise for the family and they had no idea where they were staying so it was quite a shock for them to arrive at this wonderful house. Electric gates on entry and a massive driveway. The views are fabulous. They are even better on the top level of the house and the sea is much closer than you think. The house is much bigger than we had anticipated.Every room is finished to a very high standard and well equipped with everything we needed for the weekend. The log cabin is a nice extra too although we didn't use it as it was just too cold. The house had lovely underfloor heating throughout and there was plenty of clean towels provided.Beds were so comfortable with their own ensuite bathrom. S60269 was also spotlessly clean with lovely thick carpets in every room upstairs. A lovely touch especially during the colder months. we would definitely recommend this house to anyone, Great for family get togethers or group stays. Immaculately presented and we would love to return in the summer. Thankyou Tony for letting us feel like the rich and famous in your Beautiful home. We look forward to coming back very soon.Hayley & Family"

"We thought the location of the bungalow was ideal for exploring the surrounding areas. We were very disappointed in how small the bungalow was. There was no room to put our clothes. There was one very small wardrobe with one small drawer. We had to basically live out of our suitcase for one week, which was not good enough. We did put some clothes in the kitchen cupboards, which is not ideal. There was a lack of kitchen equipment, such as no microwave dishes. Pans with no lids, apart from one small pan. No cullender or cheese grater. There was a washing machine, but nothing to put the washing on either inside or out. There was a very small table which was unsuitable for eating your breakfast on because You're knees wouldn't fit underneath. The cushions on the sofa smelt badly of urine. ( Maybe from dogs) This holiday let needs to be inspected, as whoever gave it four stars has not checked it out. We have been to hundreds of self catering accommodation and this rates in our bottom ten."

"We wanted a peaceful break without stress or being tied to a routine and this place delivered on so many levels. On arrival we had home made soda bread and scones, with clotted cream and jam, which were delicious and just what we needed after the 5 hour drive from London.S37453 was very clean, modern and spacious, perfect for a couple to stay in and such a good base to explore the beautiful countryside views and surrounding towns. The seaside town of Rhyl was only a 20 minute drive away, with a sandy beach, lovely in the hotter months. We utilised the hot tub at the cottage and went in it four times on our last day, it was bliss and we definitely want one in our back garden now!! The owners, Kim and Angus were lovely and made us feel very welcome, without intruding on our privacy. If you are prepared for the long drive to Wales, then you wont be disappointed once you get there. We loved it and can’t wait to return."
