What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Wiltshire To Rent.

"Ok, so I was looking for a cottage that ticked quite a few boxes. It needed to have all the following: * An open fire * Quiet Location * wifi * pet friendly without those pet smells * clean * Not too far from my home Chasewood Farm Cottage ticked all of these boxes and more. I booked the cottage as a surprise for my husbands birthday. He is absolutely obsessed with open fires so this was perfect! I knew the area so it was easy to find but the instructions were very good. It is in an extremely quiet area and the wildlife sounds were all you could hear. When we arrived it was very dark but we had no trouble getting in the property with the instructions that I was given. When we went into the lounge it was spot on and so cosy. During our stay we did not need to use the second lounge with TV as we just sat watching the fire! The three bedrooms are all a good size and the views are spectacular! The bedrooms are also nice and warm and bedding is spotless. There are two showers and the hot water was always readily available. We took our two teenagers and although the wifi was quite slow, they never complained and were happy to just sit and chat in front of the fire! (they are normally glued to Xbox!!). I chose this particular cottage because it was close to my home and as it was my husbands birthday we wanted to be near the Link Centre in Swindon to watch the wildcats! BUT regardless, this cottage was perfect and we are already looking to return. We had the added bonus of seeing a female woodpecker, pheasants, Red Kites and heard frogs!! There was only one downside to our stay and that is, it cost me a fortune in logs!! I think I took several bags with me and also bought some from the cottage owner! But this was the reason for my booking and husband had a fab birthday albeit he has now come home sulking! Thank you"

"We arrived to freshly baked scones, jam and clotted cream which we all enjoyed. There was plenty of parking. Beautiful gardens and fantastic views. The cottage was spacious, warm, exceptionally clean and well equipped. The bedrooms are all good sizes with comfortable beds already nicely made up. The bathrooms are beatifully presented with lots of hot water and plenty of towels. The kitchen is really well equipped with good quality utilities for at least ten people or more. Because there were eight of us the owner had kindly ensured there was a enough seating in the lounge for us all to sit comfortably. We ate breakfast in the kitchen and evening meal in the conservatory were the table accomodated us all and is larger than it looks on the photo. The conservatory was warm even in November. We did not experience any associated farm smells at all. There is absolutely thing you might need in the cottage. Everything was better, cleaner and more spacious than expected, thank you Sylvia and Michael."

"The cottage is enormous with plenty of room for our two families to relax. The location serves as a great base for exploring Wiltshire and Somerset and is close to some lovely walks. As non-pet owners we did find a few dog hairs around the place, but that’s to be expected in a place which welcomes dogs, and other than that the house was scrupulously clean and well maintained. The owner Mrs Curtis is lovely, she popped in on our first afternoon with freshly made scones and cream, and gave us some useful information on things to do. The cottage is well stocked with books and games and was a wonderful place to spend a week."

"S60619 was a brilliant place to stay absolutely everything you needed was provided for you. The owners were unobtrusive but always willing to help if needed. Very clean is an understatement it was immaculate. We took our Grandchildren with us aged 4 and 2 they had there own beds and loved every minute of there stay. A great base for sightseeing all attractions within 5 to 30 miles including New Forrest, Lyndhurst, Bournemouth. so many places to occupy your time. Thank you to David & Rosemary the owners for a very enjoyable stay."

"They have managed to fit everything you could possibly need in this place and it feels luxurious. We brought our 4 month old and there was enough space in storage for everything and her travel cot. Also enough space for our asda food delivery we had scheduled! We had a brilliant time in the Cotswolds and crammed in a lot of trips and walks (very upset we forgot to write in the guest book!). The trip would not have been the same without S86057 being our base, it's such a lovely romantic spot. Go for it... You will love it."
