What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Wiltshire To Rent.

"Lovely spacious cottage. Very comfortable and extremely well equipped. Pretty location despite being a mile from the A303. Not much nearby. Advertised as having wi fi. The internet connection was however intermittent, very weak and very slow speed. This was quite aggravating since it was important to us to have it. Owner tried to be helpful but I suggest that it should not be advertised as having wi fi until this is fixed properly. Many lovely places to visit locally and further afield. Was very pleasant in late June - relatively quiet. Was an issue with the postcode and house number. Had to phone up to understand what information to give to Tescos for a delivery. It did work out but think this could also have been clearly pointed out in the initial information. Despite these small annoyances we had a very enjoyable week and would visit again. Highly recommend it for comfort and location."

"Very happy with the S26228. Extremely spacious, clean and welcoming. Everything warm and cosy on arrival. Lovely cot provided, though we did swap rooms as the twin has a self-contained aspect which helped with a very active 15-month old. Cooking on the Aga was a delight (keep the kitchen door closed to reduce smells filtering through to the other rooms). Equipped with everything you could think of or need. Even comes with a regular morning Pheasant and Llamas (Alpacas?) in adjacent field! The baby can't resist cupboards so we did move breakables out of reach, and hopefully returned them to their proper places on leaving. Lovely quiet aspect with beautiful well kept gardens. All in all, making a difficult visit (funeral, floods, cold and wet November weather) very much easier. Definitely would recommend. Visitor book contains some comments for good places to eat and visit."

"This is one of the best equipped properties we have ever stayed in. There was far more crockery etc. than 2 people would ever need for the week, and the family have thought of everything likely to be needed when self-catering. It was like staying in someone's home. In spite of the freezing weather the cottage was always warm, with the electric heating being easily controlled. The family are very considerate and helpful and thoughtfully left us a bottle of wine and vase of daffodils for our arrival. Extra personal touches include DVDs, numerous books, board games, jigsaw puzzles etc. and lots of local information, as well as general tourist information. We seldom stay in the same area twice but may well consider returning here as it is so well situated for visiting several places of interest."

"found this cottage to be like home from home, everything was ideal location close to Marlborough and Devizes and other local attractions. You could sit out in the garden and watch the alpacas in the paddock our westie thought they were westies with long legs. There are museums for all tastes close by from the Army flying base at Middle Wallop and the new REME near Wotton Bassett ,Stonehenge, the long barrow at Avbury and the stone circle that surrounds the whole village,Pubs plentiful and most serving meals and not expensive, the Red Lion at Avbury at the weekend is worth a visit.Would I recommend to friens YES,would I return YES.Oh nearly forgot the cakes Pauline had left for use, really enjoyed the weeks holiday restfull before I had to go into hospital set me up good style."

"The property does not have a microwave which we perhaps should have noticed but you expect them to be standard. There was no hot water to the bathroom washbasin tap all week and the actual bath tap was very hard to turn off. There were one or two other smallitems that did not cause any problem but with proper maintenance they should be seen to.i.e. only one bulb worked in cooker hood, lights above breakfast bar did not work, extractorfans in both bathrooms did not work. However the property was clean and comfortable and with the above things put right I would recommend it. I have stayed in many SC cottages over the years but never in one with all food items using up a lot of the kitchencupboards. Who is responsible if they use any of it and are ill? We didn't use any."
