"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in S37653. Surprisingly spacious, quirky & comfortable. Lovely peaceful location with views across the Suffolk countryside. Kids moaned a bit about how small their bedroom was but they were just being picky and miserable, they only needed to sleep in it! Think it was more the fact they had to share (11yr old boy & 6yr old girl). We found the whole site fabulous. If you love unusual accommodation you’ll love Brockford sidings it’s such a clever and fantastically designed site. With free use of the owners under cover swimming pool, sauna & hot tub, a 5 min drive away. You book a 1 hour private use slot, pool was lovely and warm, kids loved it. Lots of lovely pubs locally, we especially liked the Railway Tavern at Mellis. Think you could probably walk to a pub if you wished but may be a couple of miles. Overall we loved!"

"A beautiful little cottage attached to the main farm house. Well appointed, with all you need to live comfortably. with a private dog secure garden, open fields and plenty of dog walks on the doorstep, it was the perfect place to escape to.Mary, the owner is accommodating, friendly and able to advise on many local activities without being intrusive or ever present. The inglenook open fire in the lounge makes for a lovely atmosphere and there are games, books and a music system and TV to help you pass time if you want to stay in.The spiral staircase to the two spacious bedrooms is not for the faint hearted or those with significant mobility difficulties. Two great local pub/restaurants in fressingfield and a well stocked local store. If you want to escape, this as good a place as any and better than quite a few more!T"

"The family who own the house live in the grounds. They are kind compassionate helpful and no problem troubled them including me accidentally leaving very late. They are an incredible team working together to ensure they sort your problems as they happen. I had a fan delivery which needed built and they offered to build it as I have been struggling with the heat. They are incredibly kind and friendly and I left after 2 weeks having made good friends. The house is charming and the garden gorgeous and the view over the fields tranquil. They also loved having my dog and hamster. I cannot recommend this house highly enough."

"A cosy, quirky cottage with comfortable beds. Set at the end of a long driveway away from traffic and with a 2 mile field walk directly from the back gate. From the lounge patio doors you step out into the fully enclosed garden with the only sound being birdsong. The large log fire is very welcoming on cooler nights. The stairs are rather steep but have a sturdy handrail to hold on to and as long as you are careful shouldn't prove too much of a problem. The two bedrooms are upstairs the rest of the rooms downstairs. Mary, the host is very friendly and welcoming. A very relaxing holiday in lovely surroundings."

"A lovely characterful cottage in a very secluded spot. The cottage is attached to the home of the very welcoming and helpful owner. The cottage is much older than it appears from the outside. This becomes apparent when you climb the very narrow and steep staircase to the bedrooms where the ancient wooden doors and floors really make this feel like an historic building. All 'mod cons' are available however - TV, modern oven, microwave, electric shower. Local roads are narrow lanes and the nearest convenience store is a 10 minute drive away, as is the pub. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here."
