"There is private and secure parking when you arrive just outside the Tower. Besides the accommodation itself there is a separate storage room where there is a freezer, washing machine and ample storage for bikes, canoes and there is also a patio set that can be used in the courtyard if the weather permits. There is also a stunning courtyard. The accommodation is as good as it looks in the photos. A beautiful kitchen more than appropriately stocked for two people with all basic requirements of salt, pepper, tea, coffee, sugar, chilli flakes, cleaning products, dishwasher tablets, tea towels etc, not to mention quality pans and crockery. There is a 4-ring gas hob, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, fridge (freezer as mentioned earlier). The living room is large, modern and spacious with a large TV screen on the wall with Freeview, whilst there is no DVD player, you can twin the TV to your devices. We had a laptop with us so twinned it to the TV and watched DVD's and logged onto our own BT account. We also got to see our holiday photos in this manner.Leading off from the front room is the bedroom and shower room. A very modern, stylish and practical bathroom, with a good spacious shower, two sinks, a storage cupboard with spare loo rolls, dust pan and brush, iron and ironing board and hanging space for clothes. The towels and shower mat were of very good quality and there are spares in the lower drawer of the cabinet in the front room. Shower gel, hand wash and lotion are provided. The shower room has a connecting door to the bedroom which has spotlessly clean and comfortable bedding and ample plug sockets at each side of the bed. There is a dresser with mirror and hair dryer and seat. The property is heated throughout with underfloor heating which seems to be controllable in each room and there is a heated towel rail in the shower room. It’s obvious that the work undertaken has been done with a great deal of love and care and it already looks amazing with the large wooden gateway in the courtyard being stunning. The grounds are well kept and great, with ample safe space for kids or a dog. The owners are helpful but unobtrusive. You do need a car for here if you want to get out and about but it’s the positioning of the property that gives you the great feeling of seclusion and privacy. There is a Tesco Extra and large Morrison's Supermarket within 2-3 miles and free-range eggs are available just down the road. There is no downside to this place, it was worth every penny, my only comment, which is not a criticism would be that shutters or blinds would be good in the kitchen although I have the feeling that they may already be on the agenda if the other accommodation on site is anything to go by."

"We had a lovely week at The Barn, everything we needed was there and the accommodation has a very homely feel. We tended to spend most of our time there in the the kitchen/diner, nice comfy chairs and a lovely AGA.The garden area is safe and secure, perfect for our little dog, and there was a safe and convenient place to park.We spent our week visiting family and friends in the area, and also visited Houghton Lodge at Stockbridge, Mottisfont Abbey at Romsey and Gilbert White's house at Selborne, (literally just up the road). We found some lovely places to take our dog for walks, there is certainly plenty to see and do in the area, and so many gardens, pubs etc. are dog friendly.Thankfully we were blessed with superb weather for the week, and as we visited in May, the birdsong and the dawn chorus was an absolute joy. I wish I could have recorded it.All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our week and would certainly return. And for anyone who is apprehensive about using an AGA, don't be. It's really easy, in fact it couldn't be easier and the results are excellent. I just wish I had room for one, I've become a convert like so many others. We received a very nice welcome pack which was much appreciated, and the owner Mrs. Nettle was very welcoming and ensured that we had everything we needed. The Barn is definitely the nicest place we have stayed so far, and I'm sure we will return in due course."

"The Tower is located in a quiet location, a couple of miles outside Haverfordwest and is attached to the owners property. From the moment you arrive you can see that the cottage has been finished to a high standard and that the owners have spent a lot of time and money on the property and its beautiful gardens. Both John and Pickles (their dog), were welcoming. While we really enjoyed staying at the Tower and found the cottage clean and comfortable, we did feel that there should be blinds on the large windows in the kitchen and on the main door for privacy, as at times we felt like we were in a fish bowl. A few points for information - Every time you access the cottage you need to go through a well lit storage room. The door is next to the parking area, as both entrances for the Tower are located in the courtyard. This is also where the key box, washing machine and freezer is located. The fridge isn't a normal fridge, but two fridge draws, so you cannot stand large items up (like milk or bottles of pop).Lastly if you have a dog, there is no separate garden for the cottage, as the Tower guests, you share the courtyard and main gardens with the owner. This wasn't a big problem for us as Pickles is a really friendly dog, but a word of warning is that there is no main gate, so you really need to keep a close eye on your dog, when using the main part of the garden."

"We loved staying in the Barn. It feels right as soon as you step through the door into the kitchen/diner. At this time of year the Aga is like a warm welcoming hug. The Barn is spacious, warm, comfortable and peaceful, being situated in a very quiet lane. Although opposite the owner’s home it has no windows on that side so you feel completely private indoors. It is very clean and excellently equipped. Whatever you want, it will be there in one of the many cupboards or drawers. In fact there was so much “stuff” that there wasn’t an empty cupboard for any food which isn’t suitable for putting in the large ‘fridge/freezer. Perhaps this could be addressed by removing some of the wine glasses! Even the hardest of drinkers would be hard pressed to use a fraction of what is provided! The sofas and bed in particular, were really comfortable. (The bed is two singles zipped together. This takes up a lot of space so remember to duck your head getting round one side to avoid hitting the sloping ceiling.)The bidet needs fixing. Water only dribbles out and the pop up waste doesn’t work.Wine, beer and biscuits were provided in the welcome pack but not milk or tea so come with all your provisions as you can’t just pop out to a shop.Cupboard space and bidet aside, this is a quality holiday home and feels like home.We would not hesitate to stay here again."

"Having being advised (by the owners) to arrive by a certain route, near the cottage, due to snow and ice, we promptly became stuck in snow. Locals helped and we took another route. This route is horrendous at best of times and should not be attempted by anyone not suited to single track roads! The cottage is need of tender loving care. The en-suite is very damp, there are many cobwebs and the washing machine door wouldn't open after a wash. The owner "forgot to tell us" this was a problem. This was later fixed. The DVD remote did not work at all. The second shower head is held up with string. The en-suite extractor doesn't work. On the plus side, the cottage is warm (but no instructions on the heating system), and the owner friendly."
