"Very warm welcome by the owners, a Dutch couple. They gave us a guided tour with great love for their home and tips for places of interest in the neighborhood. The coast is at about 50 km.On arrival there was also a cool bottle of rosé wine with a welcome note and grenadine for our son of 4. Outside there was even outside toys provided for our little scion. We immediately felt welcome. to the holiday home is very narrow and steep up the mountain, but if you do this for the first time, but once you know the road, you'll be able to enjoy it, with a beautiful view from above. should go to the pool, which makes it a little safer for smaller children, but you should be careful not to leave them alone in the garden, you do not always see where they are in. In the garden there are plenty of shade places by the pergola " s. in the evening it should also be nice to stay there, but in the period that we were there (end of June 2018) there was a mosquito infestation that caused you to be eaten alive almost. We are sorry that you could not stay out in the evening. The owners live in an adjoining house next to the domain. This makes it useful if there is a problem. We also received fresh eggs from the chickens. Once a week they come along for maintenance of garden and swimming pool. On vacation, however, we prefer a little more privacy, but that is of course a personal choice. Excellent accommodation for a couple with slightly older children. Extremely friendly owners that you can not ask anything wrong. Many shops in the neighborhood. Many objects worth seeing."

"No one was present on arrival, the key is in a coded box. The villa was not really dirty, but certainly not very clean. The maintenance is badly bad. Everything that is broken is apparently not repaired. The slatted base of one of the beds is held together with adhesive tape, it was impossible to sleep on it. A connecting rod was loose with another bed. A number of lamps did not work. There is almost no sign of the service, where no pieces are broken off. The shower (very dirty joints) is placed in the storage room for washing machine, vacuum cleaner etc. and a lot of other stuff. Not really nice to start the day. The furniture outside does not look good, weathered, faded, broken pillow. The furniture was also disappointing inside. From the sofa beds the pillows are so thin that you sit more or less on the metal frame. The surroundings are beautiful and in good weather it is lovely to sit outside on the terrace or by the pool. With less weather it is not pleasant to sit inside, so we went home a day earlier."

"Felt like a hotel room, very impersonal. Very basically equipped. The welcome package was a small packet of biscuits. It was advertised that the t.v. Was French channels only, no problem, there was a DVD player, but no dvds. This place is advertised in the U.K. but the caretakers have a very limited command of the English language. The gite is in need of redecorating internally, it’s a bit scruffy. The property is in a small hamlet outside a large village, the village has the usual collection of local shops, most things can be bought there. Only 10 minutes drive into Quimper, a city with everything you could wish for. No local information folder was offered, a big deficiency."

"The cottage was alright to stay in for the week, however the website stated that there was on street parking available, suggesting it was close by to the cottage. However we found that this was not the case, and had to park at the bottom of a steep hill. The cottage is situated right at the top of the hill, so we had to walk up and down this hill every day. We were told about a free bus that takes people to the top of the hill, but after a long day out and having waited half an hour for the bus to come, it was packed and drove straight past. We just feel that if the website had made us aware of this situation, we would have looked at alternative accommodation."

"Lack of privacy with the toilet was a slight problem. Blinds were not up to the job and annoying. Should have changed the linen half way through the holiday as we had booked for two weeks. Should have been an information pack preferably in English on local amenities / rubbish collection, etc etc etc.Site was still a partial building sites which could put some people off .Owners seemed to be trying to sell the site/ house and it was a little annoying to have people walking around.Couple were OK even though they spoke little or no English gift of an egg from their hens on the first day was a nice touch as was the gift of a small bottle of oil on our departure."
