What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages With Wifi In Cambridgeshire To Rent.

"S17010 is probably the most well equipped, beautiful and cosy rental property I have stayed in. My sons and I enjoyed our week's stay and it was well situated for us to visit family locally. The cottage itself is down a single track lane with views over the surrounding fields so feels like you're out in the country (the weather was surprisingly fabulous for an October half term so we enjoyed clear skies day and night). Civilisation is not far away however with Wisbech just a few minutes' drive away and a large a Tesco for any provisions you might need. There is also wifi at the cottage and although I couldn't get all channels on the TV, this just gave me a chance to catch up on some reading. We arrived late on the Friday night but the cottage was warm and cosy, as well as spotlessly clean. It was also surprisingly spacious. The beds were comfortable; the shower was hot and powerful; and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need, including a welcome hamper of biscuits and crisps and a pint of milk in the fridge. In the living/dining room, there was a large cupboard with a wide selection of books and some toys and puzzles which my sons enjoyed playing with during our stay. The owner, Gillian, popped round on the Saturday morning to check we had everything we needed and to let us know she was available next door if we should need anything. All in all, I would heartily recommend S17010 for a comfortable stay in the area. My sons would also recommend it as a great place for families to stay."

"However, I was absolutely delighted that the owner had really the incoming occupant in mind by providing everything that you might need and had not necessarily thought to bring with you. The kitchen was well equipped with utensils and general things such as washing up liquid, cling film/foil and dishwasher tablets that you don't need a lot of but really helps that there are some provided. Kitchen towel was another - I am always looking for it at home and welcomed some being on hand. Other nice touches were the torch in the bedroom bedside drawer and spare bulbs - thank you, even though we did not the bulbs. This speaks of an owner who has gone that extra mile and appreciated the needs of the occupant for as long or as little time as they spend in their property."

"Lovely relaxing cottage. We only needed two bedrooms but super to have a feeling of space. Great big table in the kitchen for family meals and garden enclosed for our dog which is not always the case in cottages that allow dogs. 10 minutes from the house and you can be on a train to Cambridge which is beautiful. There were dog walks near the house but the weather was not great for our week so wellies needed. Children enjoyed the park zip slide too. We did find the lack of a drier an issue, especially with children; we did put clothes over the radiators- handy to have so many. Also with a long estate car, it was difficult to get out and in the gate as cars were always parked along the road directly opposite the gate. It took some negotiating!"

"Although the cottage is very clean and spacious, it is in definite need of upgrade. The shower (wet) room is very old and unappealing and the en suite bathroom upstairs lacks a shower cubicle or even a shower spray over the bath. With six women staying and no working locks on either of the bathroom doors, there were privacy issues. There were some things missing or broken, like the grill in the oven and there was no ceiling light shade in the shower room, which we felt was potentially dangerous in a wet environment. We did leave a note about these issues for the owners. It is a working farm in a rural area, so very quiet and peaceful, but make sure you take a fly spray as not surprisingly with livestock, there were loads."

"The cottage has huge potential but needs a lot of refurbishment to get it up to standard. Beds were clean but uncomfortable. There were only 6 usable dining chairs as 3 were dangerously broken. The lead to the dvd player was missing . There was mould and peeling paint in the bathrooms. The upstairs windows were dirty and ill fitting. The carpet was soiled. The cottage backs onto the farmyard of a beef farm with an open cattle shed directly behind the property so inevitably there were flies. There were holes in the plaster and unrepaired cracks. The location is great for Duxford, Wimpole Hall and Cambridge . There was plenty of kitchen equipment and constant hot water."
