What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Whitstable To Rent.

"Fantastic venue but quiet. which suits many people. The pub around the corner served some of the worst food I have experienced , and the rudest staff, however that's nothing to do with the venue. Well equipped cottage however, so much didn't work .eg The iron didn't work at all, and I did check to fuse, the grill on the oven was falling apart. There was a cloths airier which somebody had put a note saying broken. Didn't try the washing machine of dish washer so cant comment. The rear garden had overgrown conifers which blocked the light and prevented the bedroom balcony doors from being left open , unless we had a mosquito net! And it was all I could do not to clean the windows "after all we were on holiday" The security lights didn't work. There was a wicker chair which was coming apart and had very sharp edges. Lastly the leather sofa which was the most uncomfortable thing to sit on."

"We booked S38136 for a small family group attending a wedding in Whitstable. The location couldn't have been better, very central, close to the seafront and a few minutes from many restaurants. In general the property was well equipped and comfortable with a nice seaside feel (art work and general decor) but the bathroom arrangements let the property down. The advertised shower over bath in the main bathroom is just a hand held mixer with no screen or curtain, making it very difficult to use as a shower. The shower in the shower room is better, but in a very small cubicle. Be aware there is only 1 parking space even though the photo makes you think there are more. We variously had to park a 2nd car at a friend's house out of town or in the paid car parks because we had made an incorrect assumption based on the photo."

"We had a fantastic week at S38003. The location was perfect as the house is right next to the beach and sea and the Neptune pub is about 10 metres away. My 82 year old parents loved sitting out on the balcony looking out over the sea, there is also a lovely little garden with table and chairs that we sat out in for meals and morning coffees. The house is on 3 floors with a family bathroom with bath on the first floor and shower room on the 2nd. The lounge is very comfortable and has double doors which when opened give lovely views over the beach and sea. We watched sunsets each night from the lounge and balcony. The kitchen is well equipped. It is also about a 5 minute walk to the local Sainsbury’s and High Street. I would recommend this holiday cottage and hope to return."

"The cottage was very well appointed and cosy as central heating was very efficient (November ). Had all we needed and was well sited for easy walking/visiting places of interest/shops and walking to a pub in the evening. Rooms spacious (sleeping for 3 in the one bedroom), bathroom had bath and shower cubicle as well as loo and basin. The only thing lacking was a shaver point in the bathroom. Downstairs cloakroom too. Lots of reading material and some DVDs. Kitchen had plenty of white goods including fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave (we brought our own coffee machine). Good airing cupboard for drying wet outdoor wear too. Internet access could have been better but if you want to get away from this - you'll be fine!"

"S13682 is one of the best we have stayed in, and we have been renting holiday cottages for over 20 years. We had ample space, good kitchen with everything we needed. The lounge was comfortable with nice furnishings. It has a lovely large bedroom upstairs overlooking the back garden. The bathroom has a shower and a bath, how good is that! The is also a downstairs loo. The cottage is spotless, a home from home but without the clutter!! The owners and Leigh, who looks after the cottage made us feel very welcome."
