"This was our second time at S44845, the only time that we have returned to a Snaptrip cottage though they have all been good. The reason for our return was because the property is on one level, though more like a cottage than a bungalow, and suits my 88-year old mother who comes with me and my husband. Furthermore, she prefers a traditional bath while we like a shower. Most unusually, the master bedroon has an en suite shower room and the twin-bedded room a bath which is perfect for our needs. The third separate toilet makes getting ready to go out so easy. The living room is comfortable and well provided with games if needed. The kitchen too is excellently equipped as you come to expect with RR cottages. The housekeeper does a fabulous job. My husband described the cleanliness of our bathroom as 'clinical' and the welcome hamper was used to the full.We used the garden twice for eating out. The June weather was gloriously hot and we were able to settle under the shade of the tree in the pretty garden for our meals. As well as being near many places of interest in the Cotswolds, S44845 cottage is in a super location for quiet village life with two nearby pubs and pleasant walks as well as a cooperatively run village shop with high end produce and cards. The only reason I cannot allocate five stars is because of a problem with the water supply possibly caused, we were told, by the building of some new houses on the edge of the village where there was a mishap. Unfortunately, this meant that on returning on our first night, there was no water. Instructions in the cottage about the stopcock are confusing so we tried both under the sink and behind the bath panel to no avail. Finally, on asking a neighbour, we were told that this had happened to all of the houses before on more than one occasion leading to the local water company delivering large numbers of water bottles to doorsteps. It was difficult getting through the first night and wondering what might happen the next day. Due to a kitchen tap being mounted the wrong way round, we were woken by gushing water from that tap when normal service was resumed. Luckily, we were able to continue with our holiday. The previous guests also mentioned the water being cut off the day before our visit. Obviously, this is beyond the control of the owners of S44845 but they do need to be aware, as do Snaptrip, of the hardship suffered by no water."

"This is a beautiful, spacious barn conversation. The accommodation is of the highest standard and decorated in cool, fresh colours and styles. It's within striking distance of many fabulous walks, stately homes, the Hatton Locks, Warwick Castle and much more. The nearby Stag pub at Offchurch is fantastic for dinner - you need to book ahead. The barn seemed very new and there were a few things that could have improved our stay: there were only 8 wine glasses and 8 mugs so we were constantly washing up and the only thing to whip cream with was a broken hand-held whisk (took hours!). There's a lovely, small garden to sit in with nice table and chairs but nothing to relax on in the sun and the ants made lying on the grass unpleasant!! The upstairs shower could do with a shelf or somewhere to put things. These are just finishing touches to an otherwise perfect stay."

"We enjoyed the cottage and hamper very much. Our only issue was that we were made to feel very uncomfortable by a neighbour who clearly wanted to come in and cut the hedge while we were there and even sent his gardener round with the hedge trimmer after we had made it clear we didn't want this to happen. We sent the gardener away and advised him to speak to the owner. Surely these things can be organised on changeover day or in a fallow period? We didn't know who the owner was but the neighbour, who was quite determined, let us know they lived nearby."

"S44750 had the most modern well designed cottage or house that we have rented from Snaptrip. All the appliances in the kitchen and the bathrooms were first class. The décor was very tasteful as well. Importantly, the access road to the cottage was very easy to locate and negotiate. The cottage was also located in close proximity to the Tesco in Southam and to Hilltop Farm. Our only complaint is that the living room furniture was not terribly comfortable with little back support."

"I'd give it 4.5 if I could. Lots of nice touches and details that suggested plenty of thought had gone into doing up the property. Bathrooms were lovely, beds were comfy. Personally I would have liked a bit more garden and a bit less driveway. Our group of 6 all agreed that the lighting could do with some thought - it was all or nothing - very bright or far too dark. No dimmer switches etc, especially in the kitchen where the dining table is."
