" ...2014 to a beautifully decorated apartment. The town Brixham is very small but with lovely sea views from our apartment. What a surprise I got when we went down to see where we could have a bite to eat on Monday evening the and to our astonishment found that there very few restaurant open and doing business, so quaint! What a shock to have to climb all those stairs to the apartment at the top of the hill. On Tuesday we tried to go to Totnes for Christmas shopping but unfortunately we were unable to find any parking and therefore had to return to Brixham. Wednesday we drove along the coastal road to Salcombe along the coast it was fantastic, the weather was awful but the drive was well worth it as the sights are magnificent absolutely stunning. Thursday we went to Paignton to travel by Steam train to Kingswear to catch the ferry to Dartmouth, where we went up the Dartmouth river and saw the Castle and also Agatha Christie's old home. The staff are excellent and we really enjoyed the trip although we went at the wrong time and missed the Round Robin trip which we plan to do in the new future. Submitted by Michael on 22/12/2014 "

" ...across the harbour and sea. The apartment is so well furnished with plenty of room for 2 persons and loads of storage space for clothes. There is no need to take anything with you other than your clothes and yourselves. As everything else is in the apartment for you to use, even Milk left in the fridge with plenty of packets of tea, coffee and sugar etc so you don't have to race to the shops for supplies. You can have a well-earned tea or coffee when you arrive. I liked the touch of leaving a box of Brixham toffee and fudge. We had a wonderful time in this apartment and it helped make our holiday, I would recommend it and hopefully will return for another holiday there. To book the apartment was so easy online through the Blue Chip site and they kept us upto date with everything from the time of booking to the end of our holiday. Submitted by Linda on 19/09/2016 "

" ...as described and shown on the website. It is set in the hillside with views of the harbour, marina and out to sea. It is a relatively steep climb from the village but you can take the slightly longer road way if you can't manage steps, but wouldn't be for the infirm. However, a lot of Brixham accommodation is like this and you are more than compensated by the lovely views and high standard of the apartment. The balcony catches the morning sun and is a lovely place to sit with a coffee or glass of wine. There is on-site parking but the spaces are quite narrow. It is also a little tight at the end of the bed getting to the wardrobe but the accommodation is of such an excellent standard it is perfectly fine for a holiday. We would most definitely come again. "A lovely location and very peaceful. It had a great garden which was great for our Labrador. Given that this was a owned by the caravan club we were surprised how dated it was. The paint was flaking off the ceilings and the shower had mould around the bottom. There were cobwebs on the ceiling - felt as if no one looked up when doing the cleaning. The kitchen was dated and giving you only 4 off each crockery item is a bit dated and makes you feel untrusted. A few basic cleaning items would be nice. We have stayed in many cottages and this was probably the least well equipped we have ever stayed in. It just needs modernising and a lick of paint. We loved the location and would book again but probably not in those cottages"

"My family and I were completely 'blown away' by the actual size of S72864 and the cleanliness - it was spotlessly clean! Our 3 children had endless games of hide and seek - they were also amazed at the size of the barn/cottage and the words 'wow' and 'amazing' were used frequently over our weekend stay! It was the perfect place to stay for our family gathering to celebrate my 40th. The beds are incredibly comfortable and we all had such a wonderful relaxing time. The location is fab - only 20 minutes to the coast and there are plenty of places to visit. One added bonus to S72864 is that it is situated a mere stones throw away from the best fish and chip shop we have ever been to!!! We are hoping to book again soon."
