What our customers are saying about our Two Bedroom Cottages In Speldhurst To Rent.

"We want to thank you for organising our trip to S84353, it was all very last minute! We also want to thank Jane for being a wonderful host. We wanted to upload a review, but as we can't do that directly we've forwarded it on to you. We had a wonderful short break at S84353 over the May Bank Holiday. • Jane is a great host, we got a very warm welcome. The cottage has been put together with a lot of thought and is well kitted out. • The location is wonderful. At the top of a valley, the views are beautiful with no one overlooking the property. • Ticehurst and Wadhurst are both beautiful villages, with great pubs, delis etc. There's also Bewl water, as well as Bodiam castle, Battle, Hastings - so masses to do within 30 mins drive. The cottage is a real find. Highly recommended. "

"S42451 is a fabulous property in a stunning location and picturesque area and we were lucky enough to have the fabulous May Bank Holiday sunshine. However, please be warned the comings and goings of a young family with 4 boys and 2 dogs intruded on our privacy and tranquillity. The front door of the property opens directly onto a gravel drive. When cars come up the drive the noise is incredible. (In good weather the door needs to be open to get some air flow)Neither the paddock or the garden are secure. Coupled with the fact that the single track lane, directly in front of the property, was surprisingly busy meant that dogs had to be very closely supervised at all times. We hope this review is helpful to those for whom the points we have made would have been a problem."

"We cannot speak more highly of our stay at Cox's Cottage this Easter. Everything from the lovely welcome we received on arrival to the flowers, welcome pack and homemade cake made this stay a very special one. The Cottage was well equipped, and superbly clean and well presented, and we felt at home immediately, spending our first evening round the wood burner drinking wine! Bliss! Also , plenty of mod cons to satisfy those more tech savvy. We enjoyed some lovely days out in London, travelling from nearby station of Paddock Wood, and also visited Scotney Castle and Tunbridge Wells. Our girls also had the chance to feed Simon and Lesley's sheep and cows, which they loved. Really hope to come again soon."

"This was the best and most thoughtfully equipped cottage we have ever stayed in. We wanted for nothing. The linen was crisp and clean, the kitchen had all mod cons, the bathroom was sparkling and the shower was amazing. It was faultless. Absolutely delighted with the beautiful cottage and surrounding countryside. Battle and Hastings were great places to visit and we also loved the gardens at Sissinghurst and Scotney Castle. We were also made to feel very welcome by the owners. "

"A lovely centre to explore West Kent and all the stately homes and countryside. The A21 road is excellent from the M25 and makes easy journeys to a variety of places. It was a blessing to have a land line telephone in the cottage as the mobile phone signal was poor and we did need to contact the local Dr during our stay. Good wifi though. The cottage is very well appointed with some high tec features which add to the feeling of luxury and it was very quiet and peaceful."
