What our customers are saying about our Two Bedroom Cottages In Scotland To Rent.

"I had a very comfortable weekend stay with my dog. The cottage is just round the corner from the Links seafront and ideal for dog walking and general walking and access to the beach. Also many town food outlets and pub/restaurants in easy walking distance. During my stay I appreciated the quiet location despite being on a main street. The cottage feels like a detached house although "attached" to a property next door on one wall. Well equipped and with good Wi-fi and Blu-ray player a bonus. Lighting could be better in some areas especially the kitchen and lounge. I was comfortable but a large group might find the kitchen seating restrictive for main meals. The patio table at front of house not ideal for main meals. Easy parking on street round the corner - parking right outside only really suitable for loading/unloading due to near blind corner and no pavement. I would stay again and recommend for up to 4 adults or 2 adults/3 kids if eating in. Double bed and bathroom on ground level - stair not good for disabled. Shower room and 2 bright and airy bedrooms upstairs."

"A really lovely lodge. Absolutely spotless. Could have eaten off the floor. The bedding was also lovely - however all of us struggled with the thinness of the mattresses. The shower in the main bathroom is a total nightmare as the water pressure is so strong the shower head roams around by itself. The water was absolutely everywhere on more than one occasion. The hot tub was a dream and we spent many hours in the there. But that wooden deck is a so so slippery (there are warning signs around) but we all really struggled with how slippy it was. The heating was also really difficult to manage and seemed to have a mind of its own. You are really out of the way staying here - we definitely under estimated how remote it was. There is no phone signal at all in the lodge, however there is wifi available. Kitchen had everything you could think of and more. Overall we were very happy with our holiday and would recommend to others."

"What a hidden gem in the Scottish countryside. We couldn't have asked for more. The cottage was absolutely stunning and matched the breathtaking scenery. The cottage has been decorated to such a high specification and was has been so well looked after, it was as if we were the first people to have ever stayed there. It has everything you could possibly need and more when it comes to facilities and services. It's close enough to nearby villages that you have small food stores etc if you need them but far away enough to think that you are in the middle of nowhere. No light pollution , no noise pollution just peaceful and relaxing. Lynne, the owner, could not have made us more welcome. Such a lovely lady! She was on hand for any questions, recommendations for eating out etc. I would definitely recommend to any one who is heading into Scotland."

"This is a cottage that would be wonderful for disabled people of all abilities. The bedrooms all have garden views. The bathrooms were spotless and well thought out. There was enough space to move, which is important when you're disabled or don't like to bump your elbows on the walls! The whole cottage's layout was really good. If you didn't want to be disturbed by the TV you could sleep in the bedroom at the opposite end of the bungalow. The walls are very thick so sound didn't travel far. There was a substantial welcome pack, which always puts a smile on my face - I don't have to go searching for the tea bags immediately on arrival! The area was very quiet. The owners were very helpful and friendly. The information in the cottage about places to see and eat was very informative. We'll definitely return."

"Had a very enjoyable stay at the property, it had everything you require for your stay including kitchen essentials ( washing up liquid, dish cloths, kitchen roll, salt & pepper sugar hand soaps etc ) the only thing I was disappointed with was the cleanliness of the kitchen surfaces, the kettle and toaster had a layer of greasy dust on them also the canisters on the work top, the hob and oven front weren't clean and the oven gloves were dirty with dried on food. I understand that it is no more than day to day use from previous guests but when you are paying a good sum of money to stay in a property I would expect a little more attention to detail. The rest of the property was very clean and comfortable and the nearby town of Banchory had all the amenities you could want, overall a very nice holiday."
