What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Tunbridge Wells To Rent.

"Very well equipped and comfortable grade II listed building on two floors. Ideal for local car touring and walking is possible. We found it perfect as couple with small dog and totally secure large, mainly grass garden. Nearest shop (e.g. for pint of milk on Sunday) was at Paddock Wood, about 5 miles away.) The limitation of the listed building comfort is that en-suite isn't available so nocturnal journeys needed to go downstairs for facilities. If walking, Cuckoo lane is single track with few cars leading to Tong lane which has faster traffic as it is slightly wider but not recommended as there are no safe footpaths. There is a field gate about 150 yards at end of Cuckoo lane which allows walking just inside orchard boundary to connect with public footways. Dogs need to be kept on lead due local sheep worrying issues."

"A great cottage in the middle of nowhere - which is a good thing for us! Stayed with our (reactive) dog, so having an enclosed garden is really important for us and she loved it. Served as a great base for a few days walking in the local area. Was a 10 min drive to local shops that we could see (there may have been closer though). The cottage itself is really spacious for two people and had everything we needed. Only way to improve for us would be to provide some more personal info on the local area (walks, pubs, shops etc) - as there were plenty of info leaflets for attractions, but there wasn't anything about what was on the doorstep. All-in-all, a great stay and we would definitely consider returning."

"A really charming cottage, small but beautifully decorated and furnished. Kitchen well equipped but microwave and washing machine located outside in utility room, which I have to say was the best shed I have ever seen! Quiet location with lovely views from the back including being able to see Llamas from bedroom window. We enjoyed our stay and would book again. Stairs are very steep and wonky so care needed. The owner Jo was very friendly and kept in touch to let us know when cottage was ready. There are no shops in village that we could find so could be a bit isolated. However there was a nice walk round the village and access to Scotney Castle Estate. Didn't try the village pub."

"A very nice cottage located in a very beautiful part of the country. Very convenient location for Leeds Castle and also less than 45 mins from Ashford Outlet stores, the seaside and Canterbury - all good day trips. The cottage itself is very clean with typical facilities expected at this higher end of the market. The biggest selling point for us was the huge garden with a tennis court, plenty of space to play with kids and even some garden toys for them. In fact I think they enjoyed this more than any of the day trips! The hostess was very helpful with a couple of things we needed and very welcoming."

"A great cottage with a friendly owner. We picked S88199 because we thought it would be ideal for our short stay (4 days) in Kent. We were not wrong. A well equipped cottage (although a fan would have helped as we were there on the hottest days of the year so far), that was situated conveniently for some great castles and stately homes. Easy distance to Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge (recommend the latter easier parking in Sainsbury's carpark) for shopping. It was an idyllic little cottage in an ideal place. Will hopefully return in the near future."
