"As the cottage is located in a small cul-de-sac, it feels private and quiet and there is parking for two cars. The cottage is only a couple of years old, so is very modern, with the rooms being of a good size and very light. The kitchen has everything you could need including separate fridge and freezer and dishwasher. The bathroom has a good double shower (over bath) and the enclosed garden has a gas barbecue and garden furniture on the decking for warmer days. We found milk, biscuits, tea bags, coffee and sugar waiting for us, which was really helpful. There is a village pub, only a couple of minutes walk away, along with a small shop (open every day), butchers and chip shop (Tuesday to Sunday Evenings) and where is a good feel to the village and the people seem friendly. We took our collie, but we could only find one grass area, to walk him in the village, as there is a small children's playing area in a side street only about a five minute walk from the cottage (this was useful early morning and late evenings). But we were able to take our dog on Par Beach (you need to pay for parking) and there is a wetlands park (with duck pond and grass area), within 10 minutes drive.The location of S40061 is really good if you wish to visit Fowey, Mevagissey, Charlestown Bodmin or the eden project as they are all within 40 minutes drive away. There are large supermarkets in Bodmin and St Austell, if you need them. We only had one issue, during our stay - as we found that the wifi never had enough signal and the TV would go funny at times, so we missed parts of TV programmes. But on the plus side, we had no problems using our mobile phones, while we were in the cottage and this is normally an issue in Cornwall."

"S72315 is a beautifully presented cottage. It has everything you need. It is very homely and we were made to feel very welcome from the start when Helen, the owner presented us with homemade scones for cream tea (very yummy indeed!) The bedrooms are immaculate and very comfy. There is nothing you don't need in the Kitchen too. Everything has been thought of. The only downside to the cottage is the location. A return taxi into Bude was £50 so it meant that we didn't go out on a evening Killkhampton is a lovely little village with a couple of nice pubs but again not in walking distance - or safe accessible paths that you could walk on at night. But all in all a very beautiful well maintained cottage with everything you need for a lovely family holiday xx"

"Beautiful cottage, though access by car is tricky up a very steep narrow road. You'd struggle with a long or low vehicle. Unfortunate that the larger section of bi-folding doors were broken, but at least we could still use the deck. It would be helpful if information was given about where to find the separate utility room and freezer, as we had to phone to find out. We didn't think to look in a separate building! There was also no information about recycling, and the bin wasn't emptied when it was supposed to be.Otherwise, can't really fault it. It is out of the way, but only a short walk to local amenities. The local shop is very well stocked with essentials. The views are amazing, and it was lovely to be able to lie in bed listening to the sea."

"I booked S72315 for a weekend in November to celebrate my forthcoming birthday for myself, Penny my partner and seven friends, we all found the accommodation to be excellent. When booking it, what appealed to me was the open plan of the lounge, dining area and kitchen and it didn't disappoint. The lounge is particularly comfortable with plenty of sofas for all nine of us to relax on in the evening. There is a large dining table, great to sit around having diner. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all spotlessly clean and comfortable. The owner lives right next door and is very friendly. All my friends were delighted with the accommodation. I would love to stay there again in the future."

"It had been a most enjoyable week! We have enjoyed the lovely house, the kids arguing over the pink chair. Informing me its comfy, cosy and colourful. We are so grateful for all the wonderful places nearby like the beach and the restaurants. We went to Looe (15-20 minutes away), lots of lovely shops and good places to go crabbing. The Eden Project, its amazing. The Biomes are amazing, the rainforest one in particular is extremely hot so wear light clothes. They've recently opened the walk over, so you can see things from a birds eye view. Our week has been very enjoyable and we have enjoyed every minute. Thank you so much. MH, Chelmsford."
