"S22306 is a beautiful cottage in a wonderful location. Sitting on the hillside, this tranquil cottage is surrounded by magestic Peaks and has unbeatable views across rolling hillside, on down to the sea. Inside, the cosy wood burner brought cheer and warmth to the sitting room, whilst the kitchen provided ample space for the two of us and had all the bits and pieces we needed. The bedroom is a fine size, though a more comfortable mattress would have been welcome. We were missing a few essentials on arrival - hand soap and loo roll - similarly a few logs for the fire would have been welcome. We had a great week walking the coastal path, visiting local historic houses, drinking beer at a local brewery and cosying up inside. Expect to travel 20/30 mins for a decent pub (any pub!) for dinner. Overall, we had a wonderful week, and with a few minor tweaks, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend! Thank you!"

"This is a lovely cottage with stunning countryside views from the lounge and kitchen window. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. My only negative would be that the mattresses need changing on the beds. Its nicely decorated with plenty of room. The bedrooms and bathroom are on the ground floor with a open plan kitchen, dining table and lounge on the first floor. A bottle of wine, chocolates, welsh cakes and a bara brith cake greeted us upon arrival. In the area there is a Tesco extra which is about a 5 to 10 minute drive away. Also Harveys an American restaurant is next to Tesco and Mc Donalds close by. Would definitely recommend Zip World, Portmeirion and the steam train ride from Porthmadog to Blaenau Ffestiniog. There is so much to do in North Wales with unspolit countryside and stunning waterfalls. We had a lovely time and would love to return one day."

"We had strong winds while we were there which revealed just how drafty the place was. So although the heating was on it was quite cold upstairs - especially in the bathroom - when the wind was blowing. The walls are thin so you hear people from next door. The kitchen floor was not clean. The sitting room is comfortable and has lovely views.Couldn't get the downstairs TV to work.We could not use the backdoor because it was broken and had not been repaired. I rang on the evening we arrived to ask for the back door key. The call was returned next day, to say the key had been hidden so we couldn't attempt to open the door. There was no note to explain the situation.I am sure we would have enjoyed it more in better weather - though we wouldn't have been able to use the garden."

"This was a comfortable house to stay in but we found the mattresses uncomfortable and the lighting throughout inadequate. My son's room had no bedside table or bedside light. The fridge was only partly equipped with no shelving on the door so we had to take trays out to put bottles in. There was no welcome pack so we had to call up for the wifi code. On the second day the wifi stopped working altogether. The bedrooms could use a chair to put clothes on, and the kitchen could do with some wooden spoons as we cooked in. Most importantly, the directions given to get to the cottage weren't specific enough. There is no name on the property at all, and we arrived at night. The contact was nice enough to come out and guide us in! Nice house, just a few points to work on."

"We enjoyed a wonderful week for three generations of our family. Beautiful spacious well-equipped house with a lovely big garden. Excellent very quiet location, but with easy access to routes in several different directions, giving lots of possibilities for outings to suit all ages. We enjoyed games in the garden (bring some with low-level activity rather than football/aerobie as fences are quite low). Hill walks round a lake, go-karting on a wet morning, fishing in Bangor, crabbing in Caernarvon, an epic climb up Snowdon in high wind and low cloud (lovely day at the bottom!), and surfing at Surf Snowdonia near Conwy were highlights - lots of great memories to treasure."
