"Unfortunately our stay at S20819, was not the enjoyable experience we was hopeing for. We was looking for a relaxing family holiday, but with building work next door, which always started late Tea time and weekends, going on to Mid evening, this did make it had for our son to sleep, and us to relax after a busy family day out in the evening. The mattress in the main room was very old and lumpy making every night sleep uncomfortable, on expecting the mattress was old dirty, and made me feel sick thinking I was sleeping on it, the second bedroom the curtain rail fell off, meaning through out our stay we could not close the curtains in that room, my son had to sleep in there with no curtains up. the washing machine would never work on dryer, and with no washing line to use out side, we found it impossible to dry cloths, the fridge was old and kept freezing up, which meant all the food in the fridge would freeze and had to be put in the bin. The furniture is old and dated, the house had a funny smell to it and was damp, has damp started to appear on the walls towards the end of our two week stay, overall the property is in a lovely location close to lots of places to visit, we enjoy exploring Cornwall. All issues were reported to the owner throughout our stay and upon leaving."

"Although we found the location and views stunning we thought this cottage was not up to the standard of other cottages that we have stayed in. The very narrow spiral staircase was difficult for my husband and I to get up and down. We both have had knee replacements. I would question fire regulations. My son also found it difficult carrying the baby up and down, he had to protect the babies head otherwise he would have bumped it. This left him with no hands to hold onto the staircase. The shower was another issue, a wooden bench to step on to get into a very deep Japanese bath but nothing to help you get out. Should have grab rails. Not suitable for the elderly or infirm. The double bed sagged in all directions and such an old tatty bed. The babies cot started to fall apart on the first night where it hadn’t been put together properly, so dangerous. The very old chairs in the sitting room were so uncomfortable they made your back ache after only a few minutes. The kitchen was quite well equipped but had no work tops to prepare food. The whole cottage was very cluttered with unnecessary large furniture. We have rented many cottages over the years but this is the first time we have been disappointed. So no we would not be returning."

"Wonderful week spent in this fab location. Perfect getaway, visit the sometimes busy coastal attractions in the day and escape back to the tranquillity of this lovely cottage when you are done and take a deep soak in the lovely bath tub. The garden with this half of the pair is very spacious. The cottage has everything you need for your holiday. The stairs are tight, so take note of the warnings and you'll have no issues. Gina and John are very lovely and really helpful and accomodating. The gorgeous Trebarwith Strand, which is magical when the tide goes out is a few minutes drive away or a pleasant walk and the cottage is the perfect location for the wonderful beaches, headlands and attractions such as the Camel Trail, Tintagel (seen from the garden), Ports Isaac, Quin, Padstow, nearby walks and Tors and in fact so much is accessible easily from here. But returning to the quiet of the cottage has a magic of it's own, watching the sunset or the seagulls chase the tractor across the fields."

"The cottage is bigger than expected but did smell very fusty on arrival needing all the windows opening. The carpets were dirty and I had to hover before unpacking. Thorns and berries everywhere outside so it was not dog friendly. The oven was dirty and smelt of grease. The worst part was the bathroom. The shower was filthy and completely blocked so flooded when my daughter got in the shower and we spent a few hours cleaning that and 5 pounds on drain unblocker. The location is quiet but remote and there is no way of getting anywhere unless you want to risk life and limb on single track blind bend roads. You have no choice however if you want to eat or go anywhere as there is nothing within a 4 mile radius. We left early due to not wanting to risk the roads anymore. Disappointed."

"Situated within easy walking distance of the pubs and restaurants in Tintagel, S20824 was the perfect base for a week walking some of the North Cornwall coast path. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable. There is also space to park 2 cars which was important for us. Home from home really. We were there in late October early November and although the weather was lovely we didn't really get to appreciate the garden or use the BBQ. I'm sure we would have done had the our visit been in the summer months. The pubs and restaurants are obviously geared up for a busy tourist trade but we enjoyed some better than average meals out. The coast path near here is some of the most spectacular. All in all, a great week and very good value."
